If it is said that it will become a state of श्रेष्ठ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, śreṣṭha, Sanskrit Romanization, superior) and inferior, then there is no fault. Because the support is the supreme power of the upper realm श्रेष्ठ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, śreṣṭha, Sanskrit Romanization, superior), just like relying on a bad king श्रेष्ठ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, śreṣṭha, Sanskrit Romanization, superior) to accomplish good deeds. Consciousness not only sees the form of all lands, but also the form and consciousness of the dependent body (the object) both see everything, and the dependent (ability) is: for example, form relies on the body of the desire realm to see its own land, (if it arises from the eye of the upper realm, and looks with the first eye consciousness), it can see the land (of form) of the upper realm. From the first dhyana to the third dhyana, one can see the form of one's own land, the lower land, and the upper land. From the body of the fourth dhyana, one can see all the forms of one's own land and the lower land (because there is no form above). (To be suitable as a support for seeing everything is to consider the body of the desire realm.) Consciousness relies on the body of the desire realm to generate the consciousness of its own land and the consciousness of the first dhyana. The body of the first dhyana only generates the consciousness of its own land. The bodies above the second dhyana only generate the consciousness of the lower first dhyana. Therefore, it should be understood that the statement that the body can see everything in both ways is made according to various situations. In terms of combining with other faculties, just as it is explained in detail for the eye, it should be understood in the same way for the ear, that is: the body does not have the ear of the lower land, the ear does not have the sound of the upper land, consciousness is also that kind of sound, and the body can also see everything in both ways, which should be widely combined. The three realms of nose, tongue, and body, their objects, consciousness, and dependent body are all their own lands, because they are connected to the faculties and grasp, and do not involve the meaning of interruption and distance. Thus, from general to specific, the body, the body's faculty, and the touchable are one's own land, while the body's consciousness, if it arises from the second dhyana to the fourth dhyana, when grasping the touchable, it is the land of the lower first dhyana; if it arises from the desire realm and the first dhyana, when grasping the touchable, it is only their respective lands. Mind and dharma, as well as the consciousness of mind and its dependent body, are uncertain lands, sometimes everything is the same land, and sometimes they are different lands.

Therefore. (That is, the bodies of the five realms are combined as appropriate. Among them, all four consider the realms to be the same. For the mind that desires a body, with the mind's freedom, focusing on the desired dharma, generating the consciousness of the desiring mind, like that. Or entering the samadhi of the mind that desires the dissimilar. Or when arising from the sleep of desire, the mind is desire, and the consciousness is any samadhi. When arising from above to below, the mind is the upper realm, and the consciousness and basis are the lower realm. When arising from below to above, it is the opposite. Dharma is its own realm and all realms, and also what is not included in the realms, also serves as an object. Samadhi is virtuous, the object is all nine, as it is said. And the actual virtuous dharmas of the formless realm, the field of activity is not the lower, defiled realm. This is explained with specificity.) This will be explained (again) in the third and eighth places. Eighth, explaining the three things, such as what is to be known by the two, is again from the eighteen realms (if you ask which consciousness knows what, because dharma and the eye, etc., are clear.) What is to be known by the two consciousnesses is the five external sense bases from form to touch (only), that is, form is to be known by eye consciousness, and to be known by mind consciousness, and so on. Therefore, in the sutra it is also said, "Monks, the consciousness that knows form is of two kinds, namely, that which relies on the sense faculty and that which relies on the mind." Thus it is said. The remaining thirteen realms are not the objects of the consciousnesses of the five gates, therefore it is established that they are to be known by the mind consciousness alone. (The Brahmin, listening freely to nature, spoke of the six sense faculties, such as the eye, and the female and male, and life, and the five feelings, and the five such as faith, and ignorance, knowing all three, etc. Having spoken of the twenty-two faculties, the Abhidharma masters, because they are with objects, speak after the mind and life faculties, but the Sutra masters, if they do so, would become disrespectful to the establishment of the six sense bases, therefore they recite as it appears in the sutra.) Also, from the eighteen realms, a part of the dharma realm, the unconditioned dharma is not momentary (and is stable), therefore it is called permanent. The others are conditioned, therefore it should be known that they are impermanent. Also, in the sutra it says, "The sense faculties know"
