Wherever, such as: 'Tall buildings, on rocks, in cowsheds.' 'Temples and other places by the water.' 'Places previously gathered.' 'It is also acceptable not to dig.'

Then, everyone should properly offer, kneeling on their right knee, holding a vajra and bell with incense, visualizing the tongue transforming into a vajra born from the Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,Sanskrit: hūṃ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, seed syllable, meaning to subdue). Silently recite in your heart: 'All Buddhas in all directions, please listen, I, Vajra (name), will draw a mandala here, requesting all Buddhas, etc., to descend and grant accomplishments here.' Then recite: 'All Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in all directions, free from faults, together with their retinues, with the most supreme compassion, for the sake of empowerment, please listen to my request.' Recite this three times to make the request. Then, visualize the vast protective wheel, and use the Phurba to subdue demons and evil guides. Visualize the Phurba made of sandalwood, banyan, ashvattha, and fig trees, the upper part being the image of a wrathful deity, and the lower part being the shape of a Phurba. Oneself in the posture of the king of wrathful deities, with vajra strength, together with disciples or fellow practitioners, filled with the pride of the wrathful deities of the ten directions. Oneself or entrusting to disciples or companions, above the mandala, and in the directions of east, south, north, west, wind, Isvara, Asatya, fire, and below, above the incense, recite the mantras, nail with the Phurba, and strike with the mantra and vajra hammer. The upper Phurba is nailed to the east of the eastern Phurba, and the lower Phurba is nailed to the west of the western Phurba. For protection, according to the order of nailing the Phurbas, place the kings of wrathful deities in the ten directions with mantras. The mantras come from the sadhana ritual. Then, abiding in the pride of the king of wrathful deities, with the five-pronged vajra mudra, touching the soles of the feet with the left and right hands, recite 'Hūṃ Hūṃ' (ཧཱུྃ་ཧཱུྃ,Sanskrit: hūṃ hūṃ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ hūṃ, subdue, subdue), and in the center of the mandala, stand with a right-extended, left-extended, or equal posture. Similarly, touch with the sword mudra, recite 'Yaṃ Yāḥ' (ཡཾ་ཡཱཿ,Sanskrit: yaṃ yāḥ, Romanized Sanskrit: yaṃ yāḥ, wind, wind), and then stand in the east in a circular posture; touch with the jewel mudra, recite 'Raṃ Rāḥ' (རཾ་རཱཿ,Sanskrit: raṃ rāḥ, Romanized Sanskrit: raṃ rāḥ, fire, fire), and then stand in the south in a playful posture; touch with the wheel mudra, recite 'Laṃ Lāḥ' (ལཾ་ལཱཿ,Sanskrit: laṃ lāḥ, Romanized Sanskrit: laṃ lāḥ, earth, earth), and then stand in the west blessed with the vajra seat posture, or in the Saga posture; touch with the lotus mudra, recite 'Vaṃ Vāḥ' (ཝཾ་ཝཱཿ,Sanskrit: vaṃ vāḥ, Romanized Sanskrit: vaṃ vāḥ, water, water) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
