他们前往进行供养和绕行。 迎请伟大的班智达拉克什米卡拉(Lakṣmīkara),翻译了《菩提萨埵的本生传——如意藤》(Byang chub sems dpa'i rtogs pa brjod pa dpag bsam 'khri shing)、《令龙族皆大欢喜的戏剧》(Klu rnams kun tu dga' bar byed pa'i zlos gar)、《诗镜》(Snyan ngag me long)、《自在天赞百颂》('Jig rten dbang phyug gi bstod pa brgya pa)、《圣妙吉祥赞——吉祥鬘赞》('Phags pa 'jam dpal gyi bstod pa bra tta mā lai bstod)和《月藏经》(Candra pai mdo)等先前在雪域未曾翻译的著作,并新译了它们。 从他那里,他的弟弟,被称为香敦译师洛哲坚巴(Shong ston lo tsā ba blo gros brtan pa)的人,也翻译了《凯伊金刚释——坦卡达夏》(Kye'i rdo rje'i 'grel pa ṭaṃ ka dā sha)、《总集释——莲花者》(Sdom 'byung gi 'grel pa pad mo can)和《红阎摩敌续》(Gshin rje gshed dmar po'i rgyud)等许多根本经文,并进行了多次校订。

They went to make offerings and circumambulation. Having invited the great Paṇḍita Lakṣmīkara, he translated the 'Jātaka of the Bodhisattva - Wish-Fulfilling Vine' (Byang chub sems dpa'i rtogs pa brjod pa dpag bsam 'khri shing), 'The Play that Makes All Nāgas Rejoice' (Klu rnams kun tu dga' bar byed pa'i zlos gar), 'Mirror of Poetry' (Snyan ngag me long), 'Hundred Verses in Praise of Īśvara' ('Jig rten dbang phyug gi bstod pa brgya pa), 'Praise to Mañjuśrī - Garland of Auspiciousness' ('Phags pa 'jam dpal gyi bstod pa bra tta mā lai bstod), and the 'Candra Pai Sūtra' (Candra pai mdo), etc., which had not been translated into the Land of Snows before, and newly translated them. He also annotated and clarified works such as the 'Amarakośa' (Amara koṣa), thus greatly expanding these fields of knowledge. The Noble One also wrote a letter praising the translator Shong, the holder of the scriptures, saying, 'The Tantra and Commentary of the Glorious Kālacakra, being vast and profound, difficult to fathom, with concise words and a large structure, are difficult for even great ones to easily understand. Therefore, previous translators either did not translate them, or translated them incorrectly, or used other terms, or translated only a part, or translated them too roughly, etc., but you have understood them well and are completely certain, and have proofread the texts.' When he saw 'The Play that Makes All Nāgas Rejoice', he experienced extraordinary joy and rejoicing. Therefore, he was praised as the jewel in the crown of all translators. The translation of the Tantra and Commentary of the Glorious Kālacakra translated by him, and the texts handwritten by that great scholar, also came into his possession and were preserved. From him, his younger brother, known as Shongton Translator Lodrö Tenpa (Shong ston lo tsā ba blo gros brtan pa), also translated many root texts such as the 'Commentary on Hevajra - Ṭaṃka Dāśa' (Kye'i rdo rje'i 'grel pa ṭaṃ ka dā sha), 'Commentary on the Compendium of Teachings - Lotus One' (Sdom 'byung gi 'grel pa pad mo can), and the 'Red Yamāntaka Tantra' (Gshin rje gshed dmar po'i rgyud), and made many revisions. He was the most outstanding disciple of the Noble One and was also revered as a guru by the Sechin King (Se chen rgyal pos), his merits being comparable to those of his elder brother, and he revised them. Both of them were born in Manggar Tratsang (Mang gar khra tshang), and took novice ordination from the Protector of Beings, the Noble One, and he requested and was given the name 'Supreme Possessor of Excellence, Good Intellect, Arm Ornament, Beautiful Crest' (Mtshan mchog ldan legs pa'i blo gros dpung rgyan mdzes pa'i tog), and was later known as Translator Chöden (Lo tsā ba mchog ldan). He translated the root texts of the 'Red Yamāntaka Tantra' and the 'Red Ekajaṭā Sādhana' (Ral gcig ma dmar mo'i sgrub thabs), and translated them into the land of Tibet. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The transmissions and difficulties of the scriptures and treatises, as well as most empowerments and instructions, were heard by the very guru of many virtuous spiritual friends. Kyiton Jampel Yang (འཇམ་པའི་དབྱངས།, Manjushri) heard it from him, and the great Dharma Lord (ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྗེ།) also heard it from him. Furthermore, the glorious Lama Dampa (དམ་པ།), who had mastery over many Kriya and Tantra sections, and was renowned for being extremely knowledgeable in the seven sections of Pramana, the glorious Sengge (སེང་གེ།, Simha) also heard it from the translator Chokden (མཆོག་ལྡན།). Although he also heard the translation of Ra Lotsawa (རྭ་འགྱུར།) from Lama Sherab Senggepa (ཤེས་རབ་སེང་གེ།, Prajnasimha), when the great Lama Kunga Gyaltsen Palzangpo (ཀུན་དགའ་རྒྱལ་མཚན།, Kunga Gyaltsen Palzangpo) inquired, he considered the translation of Shong (ཤོང་འགྱུར།) to be superior, and thus explained it based on the translation of Shong. At that time, I also received the complete explanation and empowerment. Furthermore, I also heard it from the witness of the wise, the great translator Dampa Pelden Lodro Tenpa (དཔལ་ལྡན་བློ་གྲོས་བརྟན་པ།, Palden Lodro Tenpa). He was born in Ombugyam (འུམ་བུ་གྱམ།) in Kyilung (སྤྱད་ལུངས།), took ordination at the feet of the great Khenchen Serkhangpa Chenpo (གསེར་ཁང་པ་ཆེན་པོ།), heard the Vinayasutra (འདུལ་བ་མདོ་རྩ།, Vinayasutra), and completely memorized and mastered it at the age of eleven. In Tsanar (ཚ་སྣར།), he went to Khenchen Takdepa Senge Gyaltsen (སྟག་སྡེ་པ་སེང་གེ་རྒྱལ་མཚན།, Takde Pa Senge Gyaltsen) and his son, the Khenpo of Takde Ripuk (སྟག་སྡེ་རི་ཕུག), Khenchen Sherab Pelwa (ཤེས་རབ་དཔལ་བ།, Sherab Pelwa), and became extremely knowledgeable in the Dharma of characteristics such as Abhisamayalankara and Pramana, and also engaged in dialectical debates. Afterwards, he went to the translator Chokden and requested the translation of the Kalachakra of Shong, and the transmissions of many scriptures and treatises. He also heard and mastered Kavyadarsha (སྙན་ངག།, Kavyadarsha), Naga Delighted Dance (ཀླུ་ཀུན་ཏུ་དགའ་བའི་ཟློས་གར།), etc., and the first chapter of the grammar Kalapa (ཀ་ལཱ་པ།, Kalapa). He also heard the empowerment of the three types of Yamantaka (གཤིན་རྗེ་གཤེད།, Yamantaka) and related Dharma teachings, as well as the Kalachakra translation of Ra from Lama Rongpa Sherab Senggepa. Afterwards, he went to Nepal three times, and learned many fields of knowledge from Madhu Pandita (མ་དྷུ་པཎྜི་ཏ།, Madhu Pandita), Rama Pandita (རཱ་མ་པཎྜི་ཏ།, Rama Pandita), and Cuda Pandita (ཙུ་ཌ་པཎྜི་ཏ།, Cuda Pandita) of eastern India, and especially mastered grammar, learning the Sabda-sutra Kalapa (སྒྲ་མདོ།, Sabda-sutra Kalapa) and its commentary 'Difficult to Traverse Lion' (བགྲོད་དཀའ་སེང་གེ།), as well as 'Benefiting Students' (སློབ་མ་ལ་ཕན་པ།), 'Treatise on Letters' (ཡི་གེའི་མདོ།), 'King of Pramana' (ཚད་མ་རྒྱལ་དབང་བློ།), 'Dialectical Language' (རྟོག་གེའི་སྐད།), 'Brief Explanation of Relationships' (འབྲེལ་པ་མདོར་བསྟན།), the conclusion of the praise to Manjushri 'Brahma-mala' (བྲ ཏྟ་མཱ་ལ།, Brahma-mala), the conclusion of the Vajrahṛdayālaṃkāra-tantra (རྡོ་རྗེ་སྙིང་པོ་རྒྱན།, Vajrahṛdayālaṃkāra-tantra), and the 'Brief Summary' (མདོར་བསྡུ). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
