However, even so, without relying on the other eight valid cognitions, but relying on the power of reasoning, one is able to generate wisdom that directly contradicts the clinging and grasping of things as being empty of inherent existence. It itself can cut off this clinging, so relying on reasoning can cut off clinging, but it does not cut off the clinging of reasoning. It is said. When searching for whether or not sprouts and so on can withstand scrutiny with the ultimate reasoning that investigates them, one cannot find that they can withstand scrutiny. When searching for whether or not that which cannot withstand scrutiny can withstand scrutiny, one cannot find it. Therefore, what is found by reasoning and what is scrutinized by it are not the same. Therefore, it is necessary to dispel this doubt by revealing that the minimum limit at which something is established in order to become truly established is that the object to be proven and the object to be measured are non-affirming negations. If the doubt that reasoning establishes that emptiness exists is not dispelled, then one cannot prove that the object to be measured is a non-affirming negation. It is said. When cause and effect are negated by inherent existence, cause and effect become merely nominal designations and merely established by the power of terminology. From then on, cause and effect merely appear as nominal designations, but there is no denying the cause and effect that can function, so the cause that is merely a designation can produce the result. I am convinced that if one clings only to those things that are established by inherent existence, then that is inverted. One should not harm the definitive understanding of cause and effect as dependent arising. It is said. In short, fundamentally, the inherent nature of things, and conditions, etc., do not exist. And so on, one must understand how to explain that the result is not present in its individual cause, collection, and time, and therefore is not self-produced. In the second chapter, when examining going and coming, the Extensive Play Sutra says: If there is a seed, it is like a sprout, but the seed is not the sprout itself, it is not different from it, nor is it the same, thus it is neither constant nor discontinuous, it is the nature of things. It is said. This prevents the seed itself from transferring and going to the sprout, and the sprout from coming from somewhere other than the seed. As in the former case, it would become constant, but it is not so, therefore the sprout at the time

It is not permanent coming from the seed. If, like the latter case, it arises without depending on the cause of the seed, then the seed would be cut off, but it is not so, so the seed is also not cut off. From copper, the protrusion of copper appears, but that copper has moved but is not seen. It is not in it, nor is it in another place, so conditioned things are neither permanent nor discontinuous. Thus it is said. On the surface of a mirror and on containers such as oil tanks, when viewed with decorations like a woman's face, a child develops attachment to it and runs very much in order to seek desire. The face is not transferred there either, and the face is never found in the image. Just as those ignorant ones generate desire, know that all dharmas are the same. Thus it is said. In the Samadhiraja Sutra, it says: The cycle of existence of sentient beings is like a dream, here no one is born and no one dies. There are no sentient beings, and life cannot be found either. These dharmas are like bubbles and trees on water, like illusions, like lightning in the sky, like the moon in water, like mirages. Not contradictory, even if dying in this world, even if transferring to another world, there is nowhere to go, and the deeds done will never be in vain. In samsara, black and white fruits also ripen. It is not permanent, nor will it be cut off. By accumulating karma, etc., it explains impermanence, and it is only a person who is imputed dependently. Apart from that, there is no sentient being established by its own nature who transfers from this world to the other shore, just like illusions, water moons, etc. Here, let me say a little, those who have gone do not go, and those who have not gone are not going either. Apart from those who have gone and those who have not gone, one will not know how to walk. Thus it is said, by explaining the three paths of gone, not gone, and walking, it explains the emptiness of self-nature. If summarized, the walker depends on walking, and walking itself also depends on the walker. Apart from that, the cause of accomplishment is not seen. Thus it is said. Similarly, the dweller depends on dwelling, etc. should also be added. Also, first, for the manifest gross comings and goings, and then for those who come here from the previous world, and those who go from here to the other shore, it should also be added to determine the reason for the absence of self-nature. Then, for things that are free in terms of dharma, when they arise, they will not come from anywhere.
