May all princes and disciples, especially starting from the son of the guide Śuddhodana, Nāgārjuna, Asaṅga, and so on, the Six Ornaments and Two Supreme Ones of Jambudvipa, the father and son of glorious Dīpaṃkara Jñāna, and the father and sons of the Second Conqueror Lozang Drakpa, Paṇchen Gedun Drupa, Gedun Gyatso, Sonam Gyatso, Yonten Gyatso, Omniscient Lozang Gyatso, Paṇchen Lozang Chökyi Gyaltsen, Supreme Incarnation Lozang Yeshe, and so on, all the Paṇḍitas and Siddhas of Tibet and China who have appeared in succession, may all their stainless wisdom, all their extraordinary realizations, be completely perfected more and more. For the sake of these (the deceased), may all the roots of virtue created through offering to the Three Jewels, reciting the sacred Dharma, and venerating the assembly of the Sangha, etc., be such that the deceased may follow and enter, and may all those deceased be free from the eight states of unfreedom, and possess the fortune to be able to continuously obtain from womb to womb a pure human body endowed with the ten endowments of self and others. Having obtained such a basis, may they also go forth into the teachings of the Victorious One, and through hearing, contemplation, and meditation, etc., may they never be separated from obtaining all collections of qualities. May they always see the face of the Buddha, hear the sacred Dharma, and possess the fortune to be able to properly and respectfully serve the noble Sangha, which is like an ocean. May they not be attached to the peace and happiness of solitude for themselves alone, but with the intention of benefiting all sentient beings, may they generate the supreme mind of enlightenment, and gradually train in all the practices of a Bodhisattva, such as the six perfections of generosity, etc., and the four means of gathering, etc., and quickly attain the body of the Dharma King, the Buddha, the Bhagavan. Even so, being unable to bear all beings being tormented by suffering while striving on the path for three countless eons, may they enter the gateway of the swift path, the Secret Mantra Vajrayana. May they receive the pure four empowerments in the presence of a qualified Vajra Master, and possess the fortune to be able to protect the samaya and vows pledged at the time of empowerment like the apple of their eye. Relying on such protection, may they practice the paths of the maturing generation stage and the liberating completion stage, and quickly attain the body of the great Vajradhara, the sixth lineage holder, endowed with the four bodies and five wisdoms. Furthermore, through the power of this virtue, may all the lay and ordained patrons of the teachings who respectfully offer to the teachings and the individuals who uphold them, and especially the patrons of generosity with this name and this name, may they be free from diseases caused by past karma and immediate circumstances.
