Like a well-tamed and fertile field, having pacified the imbalances of attachment and aversion, I have become one with a subdued nature. May all be endowed with the pleasing aspect of focusing on sentient beings, and how wonderful it would be if all were endowed with happiness! Thinking in my heart, "May it be so," with the water of great compassion that delights the mind, constantly, not just for a moment, moistening the heart. Even so, with the power of compassion, I burn and destroy the forces of the dark side, that is, all the retinue belonging to the demonic class. Although I have cut off the extremely difficult to sever, the conceptual thoughts of clinging to the self of person and phenomena, and the strong bonds of craving. Yet, with the bonds of great compassion, desiring to save all sentient beings from suffering, I tightly bind my heart. Thinking in my heart that I will never rise from the state of ultimately placing myself equally in the Dharmakaya Suchness, although I constantly possess the peaceful equanimity in my heart, yet with great compassion that cherishes other sentient beings more than myself, I prostrate with great reverence and pay homage to the lotus feet of the faithful Manjushri. Thus it is said. This praise is made from the contradictory adornment among the thirty-five ornaments of meaning. Manjushri's benefiting sentient beings and destroying the dark side of sentient beings, the two are not contradictory in meaning, but seem contradictory. Severing self-grasping and binding with compassion, the two, and possessing peaceful equanimity and cherishing others, the two are also not contradictory, but seem contradictory, all of these are praised in the way that Manjushri possesses them simultaneously. Although non-contemplative equanimity is not present in the Buddha, contemplative equanimity is present. The so-called peaceful equanimity can generally be explained as equanimity without attachment and aversion, but I think what was said before is the meaning of the time. However, if praised from the perspective of the four immeasurables, it is generally appropriate to say. Although it is usually said "reverently prostrate," here it says "pay homage" in order to draw out "nai" and other subsequent texts. So, what is the intention of praising Manjushri here? The reason for this will be explained below. Thus paying homage to Manjushri.

So, what is the purpose of starting with the word "from"? That is, to connect praise and prostration, as well as vows, and to show that these two are accomplished by one author. Therefore, the word "from" is used to connect, and to praise Mipam Gonpo, who can conquer the difficult-to-defeat four maras, such as the skandha mara. It's like saying, "Mipam Gon, who conquered the battle of the four maras." Secondly, there are three aspects to entering the actual explanation: praise, supplication, and aspiration. First, from "The four faces highly praise from many mouths" to "From the gate of lamentation, contemplate the speaker for a moment." The meaning is that the progenitor of the world, Brahma with four faces, from his many mouths, that is, from the many mouths, speaks and highly praises your virtues. Indra, with a thousand eyes, also constantly looks at you with joy with his thousand eyes. The master of his own wife, the joyful woman, the desire god who belongs to the class of demons, abandons his own arrogance and prostrates at your feet. I respectfully prostrate at the feet of the representative of the Victorious One. This is praising through prostration. Regarding how Brahma has four faces and how Indra has a thousand eyes, I have not written about it because the content is extensive. Also, for example, the extremely clear ocean is adorned with hundred-petaled lotuses. The lotus itself is also adorned with the light of the sun. The sky, purified from obscurations such as clouds and dust, is adorned with the lord of the stars, that is, the circle of the moon. The circle of the moon also creates beauty for the garden of Kunda flowers. Similarly, the Maitreya who is adorned with the thirty-two marks, such as the wheels on the hands and feet, and the eighty minor marks, such as the red color of the nails, whoever sees his body, can steal the hearts of the beings who see him with a beautiful appearance. Maitreya, may your lotus feet, in life after life, that is, in all future lives, become the adornment on the crown of the head of me, the praiser. This is praising through aspiration. This is the metaphor of the necklace that clarifies. The difference between marks and signs.
