The faculties, forbearance, and powers arise from the supreme Dharma, and the limbs of enlightenment and the limbs of the path are completely separated and established in the path of seeing. Teachers and others say: There is an order, and most of the others are similar, but the three parts of mindfulness, etc., are the three small, medium, and large stages of the path of accumulation, and the two powers are established as arising from warmth and forbearance. The fourth is: Enlightenment, limb, path limb. Uncontaminated, the other two. It is said. The limbs of enlightenment and the limbs of the noble path, the Dharma nature, are uncontaminated, because the noble path is uncontaminated. Other than that, the Dharma nature has two aspects, because there are two: contaminated and uncontaminated, because there are two: whether or not it is the truth of the path. The fifth is: In all the first dhyana, except for the unobstructed joy, in the second dhyana, except for the thought, in the two dhyanas, except for those two, there is also no form in the dhyana interval, and in the third dhyana also, except for that and the limb, enlightenment and the path limb, in the desire realm summit. It is said. Those seven parts, Dharma nature, have differences in whether they exist or not in the realm and the ground, because there are all seven parts in the first dhyana. In the unobstructed, there are six except for joy. In the second dhyana, there are six except for correct thought. In the third and fourth dhyanas, there are five except for joy and thought, and similarly, the three proximate concentrations between dhyanas and the three special features of the first dhyana are the same as that. In the first three formless realms, there are also correct speech, the limit of action, and livelihood, that is, the three limbs of discipline that are the nature of the noble path limb, and thirty-two that are not joy and thought. In the desire realm and the summit of existence, there are twenty-two except for the two limbs of enlightenment and the path limb. What is said here is from the perspective of being included by the ground, not that there are no limbs of enlightenment and the noble path in the continuum of beings in the desire realm, and it is said that there are no three such as correct speech from the formless realm, which is from the perspective that those three are considered to be form in this system, think carefully! The sixth is: Seeing the three truths, knowing through the law of discipline, and thereby gaining faith. If the path is manifested, then to the Buddha and, his Sangha also, the Dharma.

The three truths and the self-enlightened Buddha, are the path of the Bodhisattva. In substance, there are two: faith and undefiled discipline. Thus it is said. The sutras explain four ways to gain faith through understanding the Dharma: if one directly sees the first three truths, one gains faith by understanding the discipline and Dharma that please the noble ones. If one directly realizes the truth of the path, one gains faith by understanding the Buddha and the Sangha of his disciples. Therefore, the most dharmic of its objects can be established, namely, the first three truths, and the paths of the self-enlightened Buddha and the Bodhisattva. The distinctions of the object of faith, although said to be four, are essentially two: faith in the Three Jewels and so on is the nature of faith, and the two aspects of discipline. Such faith is undefiled, because it is the undefiled faith of trusting after having well understood the true meaning. Third, the liberation attained through the path, the path of liberation. The divisions of the path of liberation, the manner of attainment, the detailed explanation of the unconditioned liberation, the difference between disenchantment and detachment, and four others. The first is: Because of being bound, liberation is not explained in the limbs of the learner, it has two aspects. The unconditioned is the destruction of afflictions, the aspiration is the limb of the conditioned, that is it, those two are liberation. Thus it is said. Knowable phenomena, there is a reason why the true path of liberation and true knowledge are not explained in the limbs of the learner, because the learner is bound by afflictions. This is pervasive, because true knowledge is here established as being liberated from afflictions. That path of liberation, you have two aspects, namely, the unconditioned individual self-realization of destroying afflictions, and the liberation of the conditioned aspiration of the non-learner. The path of liberation of the non-learner's aspiration is a limb of the path of the non-learner, because its manifestation is that. That conditioned path of liberation, you have two aspects, namely, liberation of mind and liberation of wisdom, as stated in the sutras. In the second, which mind is liberated, and by which path is it liberated? The first is, as Bodhi said.
