mind. However, in the case of "self or other's tenets," it is also explained that the self-tenet is mantra, and the other's is the Perfection of Wisdom. Second, the Teacher, your unsurpassed vehicle's principle, that is, the system or arrangement, exists naturally, and in terms of conventions, abandoning the extreme of fabricating non-existence, and explaining the Victorious One's intention as it is, the Teacher himself prophesied in the Mañjuśrīmūlatantra and the Laṅkāvatāra Sūtra, the Drum Major Sūtra, etc., the treatises of the Protector Nāgārjuna, such as the Root Wisdom, etc., the lotus gardens, with the wheel of wisdom free from the stain of error, greatly expanding, and unimpeded in the sky of the Victorious One's scriptures, thereby liberating the bonds of clinging to the extremes of permanence and annihilation in the minds of those to be tamed, dispelling the darkness of the heart, that is, mental obscurations, and subduing the assembly of stars of those who falsely claim to be scholars who speak perversely about the meaning of the scriptures, the garland of white light of the auspicious Candrakīrti's well-spoken Madhyamakāvatāra and the commentary on the Root Wisdom, the Clear Words, and the commentary on the Sixty Stanzas on Reasoning, etc., made extremely clear, this meaning, due to the power of the kindness of the Guru Mañjuśrī and others, when seen with wisdom, the glorious name of the Good Intellect, my mind obtained the rest of bliss. If these are made easy to understand, and the example and the exemplified are explained separately, then Nāgārjuna's words and the lotus flower are combined, the auspicious Candrakīrti's words and moonlight, the general scriptures and especially the Teacher's words and the sky, clinging to extremes and darkness, perverse speech and stars are combined, and their functions will also be understood by this. The main Guru mentioned here is Mañjuśrī, which is known by the power of the occasion, and in this Dharma practice, the instrumental case "by mind" appears, and in the Collected Works and the Dalai Lama's, there is the genitive case "of mind." According to the first, the mind is the obtainer, and rest is what is obtained. According to the latter, the rest of the mind is what is obtained, and Tsongkhapa himself must be established as the obtainer, and in the first, Guru Tsongkhapa is also understood by meaning to be the obtainer. Third, summarizing the meaning is, all the deeds of the body, speech, and mind of the King of Sages.

Therefore, from the perspective of sound, the most excellent action is to proclaim dependent origination. Because the way of proclaiming dependent origination is the most excellent action of sound, therefore, wise individuals who understand the key points of the teachings should remember the Buddha through the way of proclaiming dependent origination. In some versions, it says, "the way of remembering praise." Remembering can be understood as remembering the kindness of the Buddha, or it can be directly understood as remembering the Buddha. The second part is divided into two points: the reason for writing the treatise and the dedication. The first point is: Why praise Shakyamuni Buddha in this way? Because I am a follower of the unsurpassed teacher, having become a renunciate and extensively studied all the Buddhist scriptures, and diligently practicing the yoga of actual practice, a monk named Lobsang Drakpa Pal (Glorious Intelligence Fame). It is to let people know that I have such respect for the great sage Shakyamuni Buddha. How did he study? It can be understood from the biographies and the enlightenment stories written by Je Tsongkhapa himself. Generally speaking, the meaning of the word "sage" is explained as straightening the mind with honesty. Sages are further divided into two types: worldly sages and transcendental sages. Here, because it is related to the word "teacher," it refers to the teacher himself. The second part is divided into two points: dedication and aspiration. The first point is elaborated with the four lines of "unsurpassed teacher," etc., meaning: Being able to encounter the Dharma of teaching and realization of the unsurpassed teacher through the three doors of hearing, thinking, and meditation is all due to the kindness of the Guru. Therefore, not only other virtues, but also all the virtues arising from writing this praise, are dedicated to all sentient beings, wishing them all to be accepted by the excellent virtuous friends. The Guru here refers to virtuous friends in a broad sense. The Buddha's teachings, as stated in the Abhidharmakosha, "The teacher's sacred Dharma has two aspects, namely, the Dharma of teaching and the Dharma of realization." Therefore, it is determined to be two types: the Dharma of teaching and the Dharma of realization. If one hears and thinks about the Dharma of teaching, and practices the Dharma of realization, then one abides in the Buddha's Dharma and can uphold the Dharma. The second point is: "The Dharma of the source of benefit," etc.
