Even if understood, merely having doubts about its meaning can destroy samsara and plant the seeds of liberation. As Aryadeva said, "With small merit, doubting this Dharma will not change. Even just doubting, samsara will be destroyed." The Sutra and Vinaya also establish this. The complete benefit of the Vajra Cutter is understood to arise from the meaning of the Prajnaparamita that it expresses, not just from reading the text. Some people recite the Heart Sutra only to pacify harm, which is a reversal of the main purpose. The Bhagavan taught all the Prajnaparamita Sutras to generate the view of realizing selflessness in the mind, which is the main method for attaining liberation and omniscience, not just to avert ordinary harm. However, the current prevalence of reciting for the purpose of averting harm is based on the fact that in the past, Indra, the lord of the gods, remembered the meaning of the Prajnaparamita and recited the words, causing the maras to retreat. This is a secondary purpose. The main purpose is to generate the wisdom of realizing selflessness for the sake of attaining liberation and omniscience, to be liberated from samsara and the lower realms, and to purify karmic obscurations. Incidentally or secondarily, reciting for the purpose of pacifying natural harm should be done according to the situation. In any case, the greater the motivation, the greater the benefit, and the smaller the motivation, the smaller the benefit, so a good motivation is very important. In short, as stated in the Vajra Cutter and other texts, many benefits arise from hearing and contemplating the meaning of the Prajnaparamita, so one should strive to understand the meaning of this profound Prajnaparamita, which has extremely great benefits. The second part has three sections: the meaning of the title, the meaning of the text, and the meaning of the conclusion. The first part has two sections: the actual title and the homage of the translation. The first is: Among the four languages in India, the Sanskrit word is "bhagavati" and so on, which when translated into Tibetan becomes "Bhagavati-ma" and so on. "Bhagavati" means Bhagavati-ma, "prajna" means wisdom, and "paramita" means to

梵文Bhagavan(梵文天城体:भगवान्,梵文罗马拟音:bhagavān,汉语字面意思:薄伽梵)既可以解释为“薄伽梵”,也可以解释为“具德”。如果按照第一种解释,“薄伽梵”正如所说:“烦恼、业以及由此而生,烦恼、所知二障亦如是,一切违逆之法皆已摧毁,故称

To the Perfection. Hridaya (藏文:ཧྲི་ད་ཡ་,梵文天城体:हृदय,梵文罗马拟音:hṛdaya,Literal Chinese meaning: heart) is so named because it becomes the essence. What is the reason for calling it "Perfection" here? Prajñāpāramitā means to cross over the ocean of samsara. This can be applied to both active and passive verbs. According to the former, it means "to cause to cross over," so there is a real Prajñāpāramitā on the path of learning. According to the latter, it means "already crossed over," so it must be associated with the state of Buddhahood. The actual Prajñāpāramitā to be expressed refers to the wisdom of realizing emptiness. However, if we distinguish "Mother" and "Prajñāpāramitā" in terms of expression, there are the Prajñāpāramitā of self-nature, the Prajñāpāramitā of scripture, the Prajñāpāramitā of the path, and the Prajñāpāramitā of the result. The first of these is synonymous with emptiness. The second is like the Mahāyāna sutras that teach emptiness. The third is like the wisdom of the noble Bodhisattvas. The fourth is omniscience. The second part is the translator's salutation: "Homage to the Bhagavati Prajñāpāramitā!" This was composed by the translator. Here, "Bhagavati" refers to Prajñāpāramitā itself, with the addition of a negative particle, and does not refer to an individual. The second part is divided into two parts: the introduction and the actual meaning. The first part has two types of introductions: common and uncommon. The first has four: the perfection of time, the perfection of the teacher, the perfection of place, and the perfection of retinue. The perfection of time is indicated by "Thus I have heard, at one time." "Thus" means that the sutra to be explained is "Thus." "I have heard" means that it was not transmitted through others, but that I personally heard it from the Bhagavan. "At one time" means that other Dharmas are usually heard at different times, but I heard this at one particular time, and because it was not heard repeatedly, it is difficult to hear. Furthermore, "at one time" also indicates that it can be grasped by hearing it only once, showing the greatness of wisdom. The perfection of the teacher is "Bhagavan." The Sanskrit word Bhagavan (梵文天城体:भगवान्,梵文罗马拟音:bhagavān,Literal Chinese meaning: Bhagavan) can be interpreted as both "Bhagavan" and "Possessing Qualities." According to the first interpretation, "Bhagavan" is as it is said: "Afflictions, karma, and what arises from them, afflictions, the obscurations of knowledge as well, all opposing dharmas are destroyed, therefore called
