The ultimate aspects of the Buddha's form as taught in the intermediate Sutras are, in fact, aspects of omniscience, because they are the ultimate wisdom that directly realizes all phenomena. Knowable phenomena are such that the aspects of omniscience are divided into thirty-seven, thirty-four, and thirty-nine, as asserted in the Sutras. This is because, having divided them into categories, they are thus established in sequence for disciples such as Shravakas, Bodhisattvas, and Buddhas. There is a reason, because omniscience itself is divided into three kinds of all-knowing from the perspective of types; therefore, because there are three different truths of the path in the continuums of those three individuals, omniscience itself is divided into three in accordance with this. From the aspect of non-existence up to this point, all aspects of the three knowledges add up to one hundred and seventy-three, as stated in the commentary: "When all aspects are combined, there are one hundred and seventy-three." The aspects of omniscience that are common to the Shravakas are thirty-seven, namely the four mindfulnesses, the four correct abandonments, the four legs of miraculous power, the five faculties, the five powers, the seven branches of enlightenment, and the eightfold noble path. The first exists, namely the four: mindfulness of body, mindfulness of feeling, mindfulness of mind, and mindfulness of phenomena. The second exists, namely the four correct abandonments: preventing the arising of unwholesome dharmas that have not yet arisen, abandoning those that have already arisen, causing the arising of wholesome dharmas that have not yet arisen, and increasing those that have already arisen. The third exists, namely the four legs of miraculous power: the leg of miraculous power of aspiration, effort, mind, and investigation. The fourth exists, namely the five faculties: the faculty of faith, effort, mindfulness, concentration, and wisdom. The fifth exists, namely the five powers: the power of faith, effort, mindfulness, concentration, and wisdom. The sixth exists, namely the mindfulness of perfect enlightenment, similarly applied, there are also the perfect discrimination of dharmas, perfect effort, perfect joy, perfect pliancy, perfect concentration, and perfect equanimity.

Because there are seven branches. The seventh is: becoming its right view, right thought, right speech, right action's end, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, right concentration, because there are eight. The aspects of the common omniscience of Bodhisattvas have thirty-four kinds, namely three doors of liberation, eight liberations, nine attainments, four paths of abandonment, and ten perfections. The first is, because there are three samadhis of emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness, which are the doors of liberation. The second is, because there are three liberations of form, four liberations of formlessness, and one liberation of cessation, totaling eight. The third is, because there are four dhyanas, four formless absorptions, and one attainment of cessation, totaling nine. The fourth is, because there are four kinds of the reverse order of realizing the four truths as non-truths, which are named the immediate path. The fifth is, because there are ten perfections, such as generosity. The aspects of uncommon omniscience have thirty-nine kinds, namely ten powers, four fearlessnesses, four analytical knowledges, eighteen unshared qualities, suchness aspect, omniscience aspect, and so on, three kinds. The first is, because there are ten powers from the power of knowing what is and is not to the power of knowing the exhaustion of all defilements. The second is, because there are two fearlessnesses of vowing to perfect abandonment and realization for one's own benefit, and two fearlessnesses of vowing to abandon obstacles and the Dharma of renunciation for the benefit of others, totaling four. The third is, because there are four analytical knowledges: analytical knowledge of Dharma, analytical knowledge of meaning, analytical knowledge of language, and analytical knowledge of eloquence. The fourth is, because there are six unshared realizations such as the wisdom without delusion, six unshared wisdoms such as desire, three unshared activities of body, speech, and mind, and three unshared wisdoms of knowing the three times without obstruction, totaling eighteen. The fifth is, because there are three aspects of omniscience: suchness, self-arisen, and Buddhahood.
