Sa! From the abode of all mantra holders, from the palace of Willow Grove, I invite the Lord of Wealth, Vaishravana, along with his retinue. Please consider me, the yogi, with affection, and through unobstructed miraculous power, please descend to this very place. Protector, all those who have passed away, those with vows, now is the time of the five degenerations. All are sinking in the mire of afflictions, all are practicing the five inexpiable sins, even in places of evil where you see and go. Before Shakya Simha, remember the vows you have taken. To protect the teachings that guide, and for the benefit of all sentient beings, I request those who dwell in the northern direction to come for the sake of sentient beings. Om Vaishravanaye saparivara jah jah jah jah hum bam ho. Thus recite, lengthen the "vai" syllable, with a majestic posture, recite between thirty-two blinks of the eyes. Visualize four "vai" syllables on each petal of the eight-petaled lotus in the heart of the king. Visualize the samaya being and the wisdom being connected by hooks of light in their hearts. Then, visualize empowerment with a precious crown, and recite: Om ratna mukuta abhishinca mam. (Tibetan: ༀ་རཏྣ་མུ་ཀུ་ཏྲ་ཨ་བྷི་ཥིཉྩ་མཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ रत्न मुकुट अभिषिञ्च मम, Sanskrit Romanization: Om ratna mukuta abhishinca mam, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, jewel, crown, empower, me.) Then, offer the offerings: This pure and pleasing, excellent sang and torma of divine substances, I offer to the Great King and his retinue. Please accept and grant accomplishments. Likewise, in the place of the smoke offering, offer the offering substances, water for offering, water for washing feet, flowers, etc., and in the place of proksanam, add argham, padyam, anjamanam, pushpe, etc., up to the music offering. A precious umbrella and golden fish, and a great treasure vase, a lotus, and a white conch shell spiraling to the right, an auspicious knot, a supreme victory banner, a dharma wheel, etc., for the sake of granting the two kinds of accomplishments, I offer to the Great King and his retinue. With these eight auspicious symbols, and a complete precious wheel, a jewel. A stainless consort, a householder, and a well-trained horse and a great vehicle elephant, one who subdues the attacks of others, the general, the seven precious things, etc., for the sake of fulfilling my wishes, I offer to the Great King's sons and consorts, the retinue.
