因为某种原因而对不好的行为感到羞愧的心理活动,是知惭。第三,因为他人原因而对此感到羞愧的心理活动,是知愧。第四,对不好的行为心怀警惕的心理活动,是谨慎。第五,不偏袒任何一方的心理活动,是舍。第六,不损害他人的心理活动,是不害。第七,对有漏的物品等不执着的心理活动,是无贪的善。第八,没有丝毫苦恼的心理活动,是无嗔的善。第九,对粗略的业果不愚昧的心理活动,是无痴的善。第十,对善行非常欢喜的心理活动,是精进。第十一,使心能够胜任的心理活动,这里指的是身心轻安的自性,身体的轻安不是指这个。第四组,作为轮回根本的潜在烦恼,是根本烦恼的定义或自性。分类有:贪、嗔、慢、无明、疑烦恼、见烦恼这五种。第一种,对有漏的事物完全贪恋的心理活动,是贪的定义或自性。第二种,具有完全苦恼之基础的心理活动,是嗔。第三种,由于坏聚见的影响,内心充满傲慢的心理活动,是慢。第四种,与智慧的对立面相反的心理活动愚昧,是无明。第五种,对自己的对境怀疑其是否真实的心理活动,是疑烦恼。第六种,以不断思索自己的对境为本质的智慧烦恼,是见烦恼。对此进行

The mental activity of being ashamed of bad behavior for some reason is knowing shame. Third, the mental activity of being ashamed of this because of others is being ashamed. Fourth, the mental activity of being vigilant about bad behavior is conscientiousness. Fifth, the mental activity of not being biased towards any party is equanimity. Sixth, the mental activity of not harming others is non-harming. Seventh, the mental activity of not being attached to contaminated objects, etc., is the virtue of non-attachment. Eighth, the mental activity of having no suffering at all is the virtue of non-anger. Ninth, the mental activity of not being ignorant of the gross results of karma is the virtue of non-ignorance. Tenth, the mental activity of being very happy with virtuous deeds is diligence. Eleventh, the mental activity that makes the mind capable is the nature of physical and mental pliancy here; physical pliancy does not refer to this. In the fourth group, the latent afflictions that are the root of existence are the definition or nature of the root afflictions. The classifications are: desire, anger, pride, ignorance, doubt affliction, and view affliction, these five. The first, the mental activity of completely craving contaminated objects, is the definition or nature of desire. The second, the mental activity with the basis of complete suffering, is anger. Third, the mental activity of being filled with arrogance due to the influence of the view of the perishable collection, is pride. Fourth, the mental activity of ignorance that is the opposite of wisdom, is ignorance. Fifth, the mental activity of doubting whether one's own object is real, is doubt affliction. Sixth, the wisdom affliction that is the nature of constantly thinking about one's own object, is view affliction. Classifying this: view of the perishable collection, view of the extreme, wrong view, view of holding views as supreme, view of holding precepts as supreme, these five. The wisdom affliction that focuses on the aggregates of grasping and clings to them as self or belonging to self is the view of the perishable collection. The wisdom affliction that clings to the self as permanent or impermanent as determined by the view of the perishable collection is the view of the extreme. The wisdom affliction that regards facts such as the results of karma as non-existent is the wrong view.
