The third is, like the contaminated five aggregates that have the traces left by karma and afflictions. Furthermore, classifying it, there are two types: the impure container world and the impure sentient beings. The first is like this realm of the desire realm. The second is like ordinary beings such as ourselves. Again, classifying it, there are two types: the result of maturation that has become that, and the result of ownership. The first is like the five aggregates of appropriation of ordinary beings. The second is like the iron-burning ground of hell. Also, classifying by the way of experiencing, there are eight types: the suffering of birth, aging, sickness, and death; the suffering of enemies hating and being jealous; the suffering of loved ones being dear and fearing separation; the suffering of seeking desires but not finding them; and the suffering of being in a bad situation. That appropriation aggregate, which abides as the cause of generating the truth of suffering as its own result, is the characteristic of the truth of origin. Classifying it, there are three types: the origin of afflictions, the origin of karma, and the origin other than that. The first includes attachment, anger, pride, ignorance, doubt as afflictions, and views as afflictions, which are the six root afflictions, as well as the twenty secondary afflictions such as wrath, resentment, concealment, and spite. The second includes meritorious karma, non-meritorious karma, and unwavering karma. The first is like the karma of abandoning killing and the contaminated karma of giving alms, which propel one to the happy migrations of the desire realm. The second is like killing and taking what is not given, which propel one to the bad migrations. The third is like the karma of meditating on the four concentrations and the four formless concentrations, which propel one to be born as gods of the form and formless realms. The third is like the primary consciousness that is concordant with the origin of afflictions and karma. Also, in the origin of karma, there are the karma of the three doors of body, speech, and mind that have become that, and the karmas that are unspecified. The cessation of individual designation, which is the result of separation from the truth of the path that has become the means of obtaining oneself, is the characteristic of the truth of cessation. Classifying it by the type of verbal expression, there is the cessation that is not individual designation or the cessation that is nominally designated, the ultimate cessation. Similarly, there is the adorned, the unadorned, the remaining.

In general, there are complete and incomplete cessations. The first is: for example, in the continuum of one who has reached the peak of the path of application, the aspect of abandoning the cutting of roots of virtue due to anger; the aspect of abandoning rebirth in the lower realms from the patience of the path of application; in the continuum of an ordinary being, the aspect of temporarily being free from attachment to manifest desire realm afflictions; and in the continuum of the uninterrupted path of the Mahāyāna path of seeing, where a lower path has not preceded, the aspect of the cessation of the imputed belief in true existence. The second is synonymous with the truth of cessation. The third is: for example, the truth of cessation in the continuum of an Arhat who has attained the six superknowledges. The fourth is: for example, the truth of cessation in the continuum of a person who has not attained superknowledges. The fifth and sixth are: Nirvāṇa with or without remainder of aggregates, or, according to the Prāsaṅgikas, the two types of Nirvāṇa with or without remainder of true appearance. The seventh and eighth are: the truth of cessation in the continuum of a learner and the truth of cessation in the continuum of a non-learner. Some scholars say that all Nirvāṇas are complete truths of cessation. The wisdom of the noble continuum, which abides in the nature of being the cause of liberation from the truth of cessation that has become its own fruit of separation, is the characteristic of the truth of the path. If we divide it without distinguishing between real and imputed, there are five: the path of accumulation, the path of application, the path of seeing, the path of meditation, and the path of no more learning. From the perspective of essence, it is divided into the truths of the path in the continua of the noble ones of the three vehicles. How are the two, cessation and path, attained? All the noble wisdoms that directly counteract the imputed and innate aspects to be abandoned, which are one's own share, also become the cause of liberation from the truths of cessation that one directly attains. When those wisdoms directly abandon their respective objects of abandonment, at that time, the aspect of abandoning the object of abandonment in such a way that it does not arise again on the continuum of consciousness is called the truth of cessation. And the liberations that occur simultaneously with it are also established as the truth of the path, abiding in the nature of being the cause of liberation from the truth of cessation. In whose continua do these four exist? The truths of suffering and origin mainly exist in the continua of ordinary beings, while the truths of cessation and path exist only in the continua of noble beings. An impure realm is the truth of suffering, but a pure realm is
