Or diseases and the body, or the abdomen or assembly point and the upper body, namely the head, and being wounded by weapons, being wounded by teeth, summarized into diagnosis and eight methods to demonstrate, like the eight branches of medicine. The treatises on craftsmanship are treatises on innovation and the dimensions of Buddha images, etc. The treatises on inner knowledge also demonstrate all that is, such as the five aggregates, the twelve sense bases, the eighteen elements, or their classifications or distinctions, like the Abhidharma-samuccaya or the Compendium of Characteristics. Second, demonstrating the suchness, namely demonstrating the four noble truths in sixteen aspects, or demonstrating the meaning of non-duality of grasper and grasped, and demonstrating the meaning of selflessness, like the Ornament of Clear Realization or the Thirty Verses or the Ornament of the Middle Way. Third, demonstrating the path to liberation and omniscience, like the Bodhisattva-bhumi, the Sravaka-bhumi, or the Bodhicaryavatara, etc. Some say that merely demonstrating a part of these is a treatise, while completely demonstrating is a great treatise, like the Samuccaya or the Abhidharmakosa. Fourth, are the explanations of common and individual teachings. First, that which clarifies the verbal aspect of the common teachings is the treatise on grammar, and that which clarifies the meaning aspect is the treatise on logic, so it is said. I think otherwise. Second, the explanations of individual teachings are of three types. The explanations of the first teachings are divided into clarifying the view aspect and clarifying the conduct aspect. First, are the seven treatises of Abhidharma, as it is said: The Dharma-skandha was made by Sariputra, the Prajnapti-sastra by Maudgalyayana, the Dhatu-kaya was made by Katyayana, the Vijnana-kaya by Devasarman, the Jnana-prasthana was made by Katyayaniputra, the Prakarana-pada by Vasumitra, the Sangiti-paryaya was made by Mahakausthila. So it is said. The Kashmir Vaibhashikas say that these seven are the Buddha's words, because the teacher spoke them piecemeal to different places, times, and people, and they were collected by the Sravaka Arhats, like the Udana. If it were not so, the three pitakas of the Buddha's words would not be complete. The Sautrantikas and others say that the Sutra and Vinaya are both universal, or there is no fault in teaching them interspersed, and the seven are considered treatises.

The seventh is the Great Commentary, which summarizes the meaning of those seven. What summarizes its meaning is the Abhidharmakosha, etc. Secondly, the seventeen Vinaya texts are first taught with ordination as the basis. Then, based on the teaching of the two Vibhangas and the sixteen basic texts. For the pure scriptures, such as the Dulwa ('Dul ba) etc., and those that appear from sporadic chapters, how to reasonably combine them for explanation is the Mula-sutra. Based on the Vibhanga, how to reasonably combine others for explanation is the Garland of Flowers or the like of the Three Hundred. Secondly, it clarifies the aspects of view and practice in the interpretation of the intermediate Buddhist scriptures. In the first aspect, it is known as the four chariot ways. Either the meaning is directly expressed, or the meaning of the essence is mainly taught, which are the six collections of Madhyamaka reasoning: The Seventy Stanzas on Emptiness, which teaches that all phenomena are empty of inherent existence and are free from the extremes of conceptual elaboration of dependent origination. Furthermore, the Root Wisdom, which refutes the truth in birth and so on, these two are fundamental or main. The Sixty Stanzas of Reasoning, which establishes it with reasoning. For that, the Refutation of Objections, which eliminates the faults of others' arguments. The Fine Analysis, which explains the manner of arguing with non-Buddhists. The Establishment of Names, which explains that although it does not exist in the ultimate sense, in the conventional sense, the terminology of the world is reasonable and established, these are the six treatises. The Ornament of Realization, which mainly teaches the meaning implicitly indicated or the meaning of realization, namely, omniscience, path knowledge, and base knowledge, are the three knowledges of the object of entry. Complete realization, the peak, gradual, and momentary, are the four applications of entry. The result of entry is the Dharmakaya, which teaches the meaning of being condensed into eight. The Condensed Meaning of the Eight Thousand, which summarizes these main meanings into thirty-two, states: "The basis and what is to be subdued, as well as actions and meditations, and the distinctions, signs, downfalls, and benefits are all truly spoken." Therefore, the basis is the teaching of the Buddha, what is to be subdued is the retinue, the action is the Mother Tantra, how to practice with the ten practices, meditation is to impute and slander non-existent and existent things, one and different, essence and distinction, name as it is in meaning, and meaning as it is in name, namely, the ten meditations as antidotes to the ten distractions.

I, from the emptiness of the internal to the emptiness of the non-entity of things, the sixteen emptinesses are distinguished in detail, and the two signs of the devil's work and the irreversible sign as signs, if the Prajnaparamita is abandoned, it will fall into the evil path, and giving alms filled with the treasures of the three thousand worlds is not as great as the merit of practicing Prajnaparamita, etc. The first two benefits summarize everything, and it is repeated because it is needed. In the Hundred Thousand Verses, the three doors are explained in eleven ways. Among them, the mother lineage is first discussed, and the chapters are divided. To the sharp-witted disciples, Shariputra, the great Bodhisattva, if he wants to fully realize enlightenment in all ways, he should strive for the Perfection of Wisdom. It means that the way of learning by whom, for whom, and for what purpose, summarizes all meanings in four ways and explains it. From that beginning to the first chapter is the beginning of the middle explanation. From then on to the end is the beginning of the extensive explanation, there are three kinds. The eleven ways are: first, it is declared to Shariputra, then Subhuti speaks once, then it is declared to Indra twice, it is declared to Subhuti four times, it is declared to Maitreya twice, and after it is declared to Ananda, it is completely handed over, there are eleven kinds. It is said that this was made by Damstrasena, but it is in line with Vasubandhu's commentary, and this treatise and the Eight Thousand Verse Meaning Collection both explain the Mind-Only School.
