There is nothing derived from the chapter. There are two derived from self-interest inference: establishing the pervasive property of the subject in general is the "Drop of Reasoning," and establishing the difficult-to-understand pervasion or the relationship of the sign-property is the "Examination of Relationship." There are two derived from the chapter on benefiting others: arguing for the sake of refutation and showing the place of victory and defeat judgment is the "Logic of Debate," and showing that understanding other minds from speech is not contradictory even to Mind-Only in terms of convention. If one's own body is preceded by intelligence, seeing the action, in order for others to grasp it, if intelligence can understand, this method is also similar to Mind-Only. It shows the establishment of other minds and seven treatises. It is unreasonable for Tibetans to say that these and other treatises of logic are Abhidharma, because logic is a treatise of reasoning and logic, while Abhidharma is a treatise of inner science. In the Commentary on Reasoning, it says: Therefore, because of constant thought, because of prior habit, because of not doing before, because of not relying on scripture, because of effort, because of attention, because of prior miserliness, because of complete grasping, because of having done what should be done, logic is considered to have five perfections. Because it is said not to rely on scripture. In the Ornament of the Sutras, it says: Logic is dependent and uncertain, not pervasive, conventional, tedious, and is considered to rely on children. This is how it appears. Abhidharma is the mother, so it is contradictory. In the Compendium of Valid Cognition, it also says: Just by stating that valid cognition and the object of valid cognition are close, because the assertions of the heretics are meaningless. This was written to turn away those who are attached to it, but this alone is not for entering the teachings of the Tathagata, because its Dharma is not the object of logic. From turning away, hearing the Dharma-nature of the teacher, one will realize it effortlessly, because there is no intermediate obstacle. And, from that treatise, whoever leads from the path of logic to Dharma-nature has greatly diminished and damaged the teachings of the Sage. Even so, the characteristics of the Dharma of the Tathagata, if they go elsewhere, are worthy of examination. Therefore. Treatises on grammar are summarized into three: nature, condition, and transformation, and explained.

The sutra of phonetics and its branches: the nature is the substance and the name; the condition is the condition that has the ability to produce names from the substance; the condition that produces other names from the name is the condition of benefit. Among them, there are three kinds of conditions: general, countless, and material. From the substance, words are produced and time is distinguished, which is tiṅ; from the name, words are produced and meaning is distinguished, which is supa; what is placed between nature and condition is agama; and what transforms the substance into another is the near transformation. Near transformation is a kind of nature. Transformation is the omission and transformation of letters due to conjunction, etc., and the abbreviation of words, etc. These are the summaries of the expressions of phonetics, or conjunctions, names, and general statements, and kṛta and the four show the root meaning of the sutra, the substance, near transformation, uṇa, etc. are branches, and explaining with these is like the Kalāpa, or the collection of letters, the collection of names, and the collection of words are summarized and explained like the Vāgvrtti. These are not any of the three pitakas that should be studied as the cause of obtaining the four right views. Related to these are the different ways of connecting the letters and the tongue, and the treatise on prosody that shows the method of arranging, such as the Ratnākara, and the classification of the types of names and the three marks, and the way in which one name is used for many meanings, etc., which are shown in the lexicon Amarakosha, and the treatise on poetics, which includes the definition of poetics and the tenets of poetics, and the different views, and the thirty-five ornaments, and the difficult tasks and riddles, etc., which are shown in the Kāvyādarśa, or the dramas, etc., which are shown by combining these. These poetics, etc., are branches of phonetics, or branches of knowledge, as it is said in the Amarakosha: poetics, definite statement, sacrifice, these three are the third part of knowledge. The treatise on medicine shows the four things: disease, the basis of disease, the antidote to disease, medicine, and the behavior of healing with medicine, or: body and child, ghost, upper body, weapons and teeth, old corpse, pulse, where does healing exist, it is explained in those eight branches. Through these, pregnant women and children and their ghosts
