To understand one and different, essence and distinction, as the name is, so is the meaning, and as the meaning is, so is the name, which are the ten meditations to counteract the ten distractions. From inner emptiness to the emptiness of the nature of non-things, there are sixteen emptinesses that are distinguished in detail. In terms of signs, there are two signs: the sign of demonic activity and the sign of non-retrogression. If one abandons the Prajnaparamita, one will fall into the lower realms. It is said that making offerings by filling the three thousand worlds with jewels is less meritorious than practicing the Prajnaparamita, and so on. The first two benefits encompass everything, and they are repeated because of the need. The hundred thousand verses explain in eleven ways within three categories, that is, initially beginning with the Queen Mother, dividing into chapters, and saying to the sharp-witted disciples: Shariputra, a great Bodhisattva who wishes to fully awaken to perfect enlightenment in all ways should strive in the Prajnaparamita. This means that the four ways of who, for whom, and where to study summarize all the essential points. From here to the first chapter is the door of brief explanation, and from here to the end is the door of extensive explanation, so there are three categories. The eleven ways are: first, the teaching to Shariputra, then one spoken by Subhuti, then two teachings to Indra, four teachings to Subhuti, two teachings to Maitreya, and the teaching to Ananda and complete entrustment, making eleven in total. It is said that this was composed by Dṛṣṭasena, but it is consistent with Vasubandhu's commentary, and this treatise and the 'Condensed Meaning of the Eight Thousand Verses' both explain the Mind-Only doctrine.
