All things, should be regarded as like a dream, and so on. For the lord of yoga, the sleep of Lova is like a dream. Thus, the manifestation of the alaya-wisdom, the self-appearance of the Great Seal, the self-form of the Great Vehicle, the experience of the Great Madhyamaka, the manifestation of the Tathagatagarbha, the profound waves of Other-Emptiness, the play of the clear light Dharmakaya, the profound appearance of the Prajnaparamita, the six objects of samadhi called 'Appearance,' and all that is related to dreams, should be recognized as the ultimate mind.

The meaning is: When the six branches of yoga are practiced through the binding union of the basis of all, the innate wisdom Mahamudra, the Great Madhyamaka, the Great Vehicle, the profound Prajnaparamita, and the very nature of the Tathagatagarbha, what manifests is: the six faculties such as the eye of the Madhyamaka free from elaboration; the six objects such as the ultimate Great Vehicle's Vajra Tara; and the six consciousnesses such as the eye consciousness of the Mahamudra of mind-essence. The eighteen realms of the Tathagatagarbha manifest. In the "Praise of Dharmadhatu," it says: When the eye and form are naked, stainless appearance arises. From the unborn, unceasing nature, one fully knows the Dharmadhatu. Relying on sound and ear, three kinds of pure consciousness arise. The Dharmadhatu is without characteristics; with conceptualization, it becomes hearing. Relying on nose and smell, various things arise; that is an example of the formless. Likewise, the nose's consciousness discriminates in the Dharmadhatu. The tongue's nature is emptiness; the realm of taste is also solitary. By the nature of the Dharmadhatu, consciousness has no location. The nature of the pure body and the characteristics of the condition of touch, liberated from pure conditions, are called Dharmadhatu. For phenomena in which mind is primary, abandoning conceptualization and permanence, phenomena are without inherent existence; one should meditate on them in the Dharmadhatu. Seeing, hearing, coarseness, experiencing, and touching, the yogi, knowing phenomena in this way, perfects their characteristics. Eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, and likewise mind, the six pure sources, this itself is its characteristic. Thus it is said. If the movement of conceptual thought, like fire, is extinguished, the illusion of attachment and aversion, like smoke, will be cut off. The yogi's experience, the six realms of luminosity, and the emptiness of the six realms with signs, appear as self-awareness individually. In the Sutra of Pure Thought, Manjushri asked: "Noble son, how is the experience of a yogi practicing samadhi best?" The Buddha replied: "For example, if the fire in a stove is extinguished, the smoke will disappear from the window. If one knows that mind and consciousness are emptiness, then form...

The experience of appearance being empty, sound being loud and empty, smell being sensed and empty, taste being experienced and empty, and touch being felt and empty arises. If the sky is unobscured, it is clear. If the water is unclouded, it is clear. If the mind is unfabricated, it is blissful. Therefore, it is said: The yogi who knows the nature of the mind, no matter how he meditates, abides in the original meaning. This is explained as the experience of samadhi. And, the arising of the sphere of the Dharmadhatu wisdom and so on, the faculties such as the eye, the consciousnesses such as eye consciousness, and all objects such as form, although they are the arising and the eighteen elements of the ultimate Dharmadhatu, they are not the arising and the eighteen elements of conventional imputation. Because the characteristic of the conventional ground is hardness and so on, and the characteristic of the eye is not seeing conventional form and so on, the characteristics of the eighteen conventional elements are not like that. In the sutra spoken by the noble Immaculate Intellect, it says: The Dharmadhatu is the element of earth, but the Dharmadhatu is not the characteristic of hardness. The Dharmadhatu is the element of water, but the Dharmadhatu is not the characteristic of moisture. The Dharmadhatu is the element of fire, but the Dharmadhatu is not the characteristic of ripening. The Dharmadhatu is the element of wind, but the Dharmadhatu is not the characteristic of moving. The Dharmadhatu is the element of the eye, but the Dharmadhatu is not the characteristic of seeing. The Dharmadhatu is the element of ear, nose, tongue, body, mind, eye consciousness, nose consciousness, tongue consciousness, body consciousness, and mind consciousness, but the Dharmadhatu is not merely the characteristic of hearing, smelling, tasting, touching, distinguishing, and form distinguishing, sound distinguishing, smell distinguishing, taste distinguishing, touch distinguishing, and dharma distinguishing. The Dharmadhatu is the element of form, sound, smell, taste, touch, and dharma, but eye consciousness and ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind
