Therefore, speech has power, and even just praying can manifest achievements, and all beings have faith and desire. The Lama's body, speech, and mind are united, and it is certain in the mind that it is the Dharmakaya. Because all dharmas of appearance, existence, samsara, and nirvana are primordially pure by nature, in the state of that knower (the Lama), there is no interruption for a moment. To that precious Lama, regardless of one's own body and life, one serves diligently, like the tsampa (roasted barley flour) snow wall of the Lhasa God's Gate. In that pure hermitage, abandoning the thought of samsara, like a fearless lion king, without dwelling in meditation or post-meditation, constantly abiding in the state of Mahamudra, one has taken essence from the heart that has no essence. Serving with the intermediate body, through countless hardships, regardless of body and life, one has repeatedly removed the obstacles to the life of that Lama, and has taken essence from the body that has no essence. Finally, with the service of material wealth, offering tea, gold, and silver, led by many scriptures such as the Extensive Sutra, as well as tiger skins, leopard skins, armor, turquoise, coral, black yaks, steeds, and other extremely rare and precious treasures, one has taken essence from the enjoyment that has no essence. Through these three services, that precious Lama was made very happy. Furthermore, the protector of beings, that precious Lama, because the precious Bodhicitta arose, relics of various colors appeared on his body. Because the service to the Lama and the perfection of the Paramita of generosity were completed, the hands and feet were well adorned with the Dharma wheel and lotus. There was a very clear auspicious knot pattern in the heart. The Utpala flower in the hand grows upwards and is long. At the base of the little finger of the left hand, there is a clear Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) syllable, like hair. The body is majestic and radiant, abiding in a manner that overwhelms everything. All dharmas appear as the interdependence of the outer, inner, and secret, benefiting countless disciples without partiality with impartial great compassion. Through various interdependencies, the benefit of many sentient beings is accomplished. When passing away, one passes away with great compassion, seeking benefit and happiness for beings.

When he rested, his body remained upright, sitting perfectly in the lotus position. When he napped, he rested in a state of clear light without coming or going. In all four activities, he remained in a state of great samadhi. Through the power of the six superknowledges, he engaged in secret conduct. His activities of body, speech, and mind, taming beings in various ways, he showed them accordingly, according to the dispositions and latent tendencies of those to be trained. His body, speech, and mind were filled with loving activities, and when he rested, he protected the sleep of the wild animals. Birds and sparrows guarded his sleep, staying in the palms of his hands, landing on the tip of his nose, and clearing his eye discharge. When he awoke, heroes and dakinis, with the sound of the damaru and hand gestures, reminded him not to forget his vows and the time for departure and return. Furthermore, that precious lama directly saw countless yidam deities, could travel in the sky, did not sink in water, manifested multiple forms, entered into all states of cessation, passed through walls and rocks without obstruction, possessed vast superknowledge, attained the supreme accomplishment of the Great Seal, and all common qualities were manifestly present; he was an unrivaled and uncontested great accomplished one. As the protector and refuge of all beings, that precious lama, although without birth, aging, sickness, and death, at the age of seventy-two, considering some disciples, thought to act in accordance with the twelve deeds of a fully enlightened Buddha, performing unsurpassed deeds. One day, he said in a dream, "I dreamed that I will die next year. No matter what I do, it cannot be stopped, it seems I must go. Do not keep those who newly come to seek Dharma by my side, do not let them have any expectations." They will leave with sadness because they do not like you. Send them to other lamas; the length of time is not important, but devotion is, and losing devotion is a greater loss. Some people say they cannot find an opportunity to practice Dharma, but this is not true. Go and meet an uncontested and qualified lama, maintain devotion with all your heart, and be diligent with the infallible cause and effect of karma. Without distraction, cherish the precious mind of enlightenment.
