is present. The Lama sits on the throne, adorned with the six ornaments in the form of one's own Yidam or Vajrasattva. The disciples attach their eyes to the glass mirror and, by looking at the body of Vajrasattva, the body of Vajrasattva made of five-colored rainbow light appears, two layers stacked, three layers stacked, and so on. That body, which appears but has no inherent existence, is clearly meditated upon in the mind. This is the fourth session. Then, that deity's body, which appears but has no inherent existence, also becomes clear in the mind, and is absorbed into one's own body. One's own dream Bardo instructions, confusion self-liberated. Once the body is so clearly mastered, all containers and contents are meditated upon in the same way, and once they are clearly mastered, it is the accomplishment of the pure illusory body. Therefore, when the peaceful and wrathful deities appear in the Bardo, it is certain that liberation will be attained. So, the actual practice of the birth-place Bardo is also only this. The preliminaries of the dream Bardo and the Dharmata Bardo also depend on this, so one must strive very hard. The impure illusory body is also cherished as a preliminary to the existence Bardo, so these two illusory bodies are the actual practice of the Bardo. Instructions on the self-liberation of attachment to the illusory body. Samaya. Then there are three instructions for the night, the instructions for the self-liberation of dream confusion: grasping dreams, transforming and changing, and removing obstacles to dreams. The first is grasping dreams, which is guiding dream imprints, so all daytime appearances should be trained to be like dreams, like illusions. As it says in the Prajnaparamita Sutra: All dharmas are like dreams, like illusions. One should understand it like that, and especially, it is important to train in the instructions of the daytime appearance illusory body. At this time, one should strongly think that places, cities, houses, friends, conversations, and all actions are dreams. One should also say in words, "It is a dream, it is a dream," and one should continuously and strongly think, "It is a dream itself." Then, when going to bed in the evening, for the benefit of all sentient beings as vast as the sky, one should practice the samadhi that is like an illusion, in order to attain perfect enlightenment. For that purpose, one should generate the mind of training dreams. Then, when going to bed, one should lie down on the right side, with the head facing north.
