A crown of knowledge, a head of knowledge, a lamp of knowledge, a flame of knowledge; A Meru of knowledge, a peak of knowledge, to that Buddha I bow. 147. He who sought the knowledge of liberation, Revealer of the truth of the path; Proclaimer of the path, knower of the path, That Buddha I revere. Attained right view, Established in right knowledge; His self conquered by right liberation, That Buddha I revere. Arahant, endowed with true knowledge, Crest-jewel of the peak of knowledge; Attained supreme happiness, That Buddha I revere. Endowed with supreme knowledge, Full of excellent wisdom; Attained right liberation, That Buddha I revere. All-seeing, well-knowing, Skilled in all tasks; Endowed with good qualities everywhere, That Buddha I revere. Having felt feelings, He awakened to perfect enlightenment; Free from sorrow, of good mind, That Buddha I revere. Free from craving for feelings, Liberated from feelings in every way; Knower of the Vedas, and end of the Vedas, That Buddha I revere. A ground of trust for beings, Like eyes for the blind; Unprotected yet a protector, That Buddha I revere. Witness to suffering, suffering destroyed, Knower of suffering, gone to the end of suffering; Suffering abandoned, knower of suffering, That Buddha I revere. Witness to the body, witness to the mind, Witness to feelings, happy; Witness to phenomena, a good witness, That Buddha I revere. His body peaceful, his speech peaceful, His mind peaceful, composed; All attachments calmed, That Buddha I revere. Sam With mind well-composed for months, established in perfect virtue; Fully endowed with perfect wisdom, to that Buddha I bow down. Having attained all ends, intensely engaged in insight; Having reached complete peace, to that Buddha I bow down. Having experienced the whole body, discerning all phenomena; He abandoned the cycle of existence, to that Buddha I bow down. Always endowed with mindfulness, always delighting in clear comprehension; The recluse, the master, continuously, to that Buddha I bow down. Seeing the vision of truth, discerning the true Dhamma; He set in motion the Wheel of Truth, to that Buddha I bow down. Endowed with the subtlety of jhānas, having reached the goal of his own aspiration; Seeing the danger in existence, to that Buddha I bow down. Having eyes, having vows, having virtue, perfectly virtuous; Having intelligence, having wisdom, to that Buddha I bow down. Having beauty, having qualities, having radiance, bearing light; Having fame, having renown, to that Buddha I bow down. Mindful, restrained, peaceful, intelligent, sagacious; Glorious, wise, to that Buddha I bow down. Having exertion, having security, having ready wit, a lord; Modest, glorious, to that Buddha I bow down. Self-tamed, without excess, firm and steadfast, a burden-bearer; Resolute, endowed with wisdom, to that Buddha I bow down. Having strength, having psychic power, having compassion, an abode of compassion; Having charm, having beauty, to that Buddha I bow down. Having patience, having peace, the Blessed One, perfectly isolated; Having knowledge, having guidance, to that Buddha I bow down. Having enlightenment, having intelligence, enlightenment-knowledge, enlightenment-qualities; Having attained the Dhamma of enlightenment, to that Buddha I bow down. Freed from defilements, having loving-kindness, having compassion, delighted; In every way having equanimity, to that Buddha I bow down. Having restraint, of restrained conduct, having forgiveness, secure in happiness; Having ascetic practice, having reality, to that Buddha I bow down. A man of influence, glorious, with ready wit; Always The lamp of truth, I bow down to that Buddha. Without apprehension, without terror, without craving, without blemish; Unblemished, without doubt, To that Buddha, I bow.208. Bathed, cleansed, purified, extinguished, delivered; Stainless, attained cessation, To that Buddha, I bow.209. Fearless, bull among men, unshaken, lion among men; Elephant among men, unwavering, To that Buddha, I bow.210. And without lust, and without wrath, and utterly pure, and without intoxication; And without suffering, and without sorrow, To that Buddha, I bow.211. Destroyer of various heretics, destroyer of various doctrines; He repelled various views, To that Buddha, I bow.212. Destroyer of delight, without master, without desire, without fuel; Released from conceit, without craving, To that Buddha, I bow.213. Unfettered, unbound, without affliction, without tumor; Without bolt, without thorn, To that Buddha, I bow.214. Without torment, without evil, Without thirst, undisturbed; Unshaken, without defilement, I bow down to that Buddha. With pride destroyed, skillful, Knowing the fixed law; With doubt crossed over, fearless, I bow down to that Buddha. Not impudent, without ill-will, Without excessive pride, serene; Attained Nibbana, complete, I bow down to that Buddha. Without anger, without enmity, And without wrath, not agitated; Attained the fixed law, joyful, I bow down to that Buddha.
