Come, let us perform the act of rebuke on him.’ They perform the act of rebuke on him – by unrighteous unity. So from that dwelling, he goes to another dwelling. There too, it occurs to the bhikkhus thus – ‘Friends, this bhikkhu has been subjected to the act of rebuke by the Saṅgha, by unrighteous unity. Come, let us perform the act of rebuke on him.’ They perform the act of rebuke on him – by righteous division. So from that dwelling, he goes to another dwelling.
