Through focused meditation, after twelve years, the supreme accomplishment of Mahamudra will descend upon the practitioner. Until then, one should practice in secrecy. Thereafter, even if appearing before the world, people will consider the guru impure due to venerating an evil woman. If the guru is impure, then the king will also become impure. This will cause the entire country to become impure and degenerate. Therefore, to purify the source of impurity, the impure guru himself and the evil woman should be burned together. He repeatedly advised the king. Once, he looked down from the top of the palace and saw the guru coming out of the house with an evil woman. Then the king began to implement punishment, piling up a large amount of firewood. The guru and his consort were placed on the pile of firewood, and the firewood was piled up again and lit. The flames burned continuously for seven days without interruption. On the eighth day, when people cleared the ashes, they found a small lake in the center of the ashes, in which a lotus flower bloomed extremely beautifully. Upon the lotus, the glorious forms of the guru and his consort Heruka Wrathful deity) appeared. Everyone present was amazed. All the people of the land of Oddiyana (藏文:ཨོ་ཌི་ཡ་ཎ,汉语字面意思:Lotus Garden, modern Swat Valley in Pakistan) were introduced to the Vajrayana. It is said that the king and his five hundred attendants also attained accomplishment. Another time, he went to a region of Maru. There, a person saw a deer suffering from extreme cold on the sandy plain at noon. He realized that there was precious sandalwood there, so he dug it up. He dug up a large piece of sandalwood and offered it to the guru. The guru knew that it would be good to make a statue of Heruka Wrathful deity) from it. Therefore, he needed a woman of the lotus lineage, possessing thirty-two virtues, to do the grinding and carving work. However, such a person was not found elsewhere, only the concubine of a king who adhered to non-Buddhist beliefs in that place was known to possess such qualities. Therefore, he summoned her every night through meditation and had her grind the sandalwood. Once, the king saw that her hand was cracked and asked, "You have been living comfortably, but why has your body become so weak and your hands so yellow?" The concubine replied, "Does the king not know? Every night, a monk in a cave makes me work exclusively on sandalwood statues until dawn."

Nearby, they said, "Send it back here again." When asked in which direction it was, they replied, "I'm dizzy, I don't know the direction." There, the king also observed, and as it was getting towards dusk, the king himself seemed to be intoxicated and dizzy. That queen, however, suddenly flew into the sky, and the next morning she arrived home without knowing where she had come from. The next evening, she handed over a bag of vermilion, saying, "Scatter it on the road as much as you can." After scattering it, the next morning the king followed the trail of vermilion and arrived at the teacher's place. The king was furious and came with his entourage to inflict punishment. There, the teacher performed the Vajrakila ritual, and as (the Vajrakila) revolved around the neck of the clay pot, the faces of the king and his entourage turned to the back. They were frightened and prostrated at the teacher's feet. The teacher said, "You should enter the Buddhist teachings, and if you do not, I will cut off your heads." The king also entered the Buddhist teachings. It is said that the built Heruka temple is very powerful and blessed. If a vow-breaker sees the face of that statue, they will vomit blood and die. Later, when the Tagzig (Persian or Arab) army began to destroy it, twelve Tagzig cavalrymen died at the same time. It is still said to be very powerful. That teacher did the benefit of countless sentient beings, and it is said that he attained the state of Heruka. His disciple, King Indrabhuti, was the one who burned the teacher mentioned earlier. However, the detailed history of this is not told. It is only mentioned slightly, and it will be discussed in the chapter on Lawapa. Another lineage is that Indrabhuti personally instructed and transmitted it to Padmakara. Padmakara asked the teacher Kusali. It is said that this was asked by the younger Kusali Bhadra. However, the history of that lineage will be known later. In the story like the source of jewels, this is the third chapter on the transmission of Karma Mudra. The fourth transmission is the pith of Clear Light. That is, the teacher Vajraghantapa, in Oddiyana, directly asked the Vajra Dakinis, and also, from the perspective of the distant transmission, the great teacher Acharya Tamchok.

Having attained the great and supreme accomplishment, meditating on the clear light inconceivable samadhi, he lived in a humble dwelling near the gate of a city in Oddiyana (Ujjain, approximately 8th century AD). The king's people repeatedly insulted him with vulgar behavior. Once, the land of Oddiyana, which was so vast, without mountains or rivers, was covered with horses, and all the fields and gardens were eaten up. The king's people drove the horses, but they were always just about to be caught, yet never were. Finally, some of the remaining horses were seen entering the teacher's hut, so they went to look at the hut, but there wasn't a single horse there. Then they knew it was an illusion. They also knew that the teacher had attained accomplishment, but the teacher flew away to a non-human realm by means of his miraculous powers. However, the king and others requested instructions from his disciple, Vinapa, also known as Pivamzhaba (Flute Feet). That teacher, who was initially of royal lineage, after being empowered and instructed by the teacher Horse Supreme (Rtamchog), said, "I am able to renounce the affairs of the royal family, but I am unable to renounce the sound of the flute. What should I do?" (The teacher) then gave the instruction to focus the mind on the sound of the flute itself, and it is said that he also attained inconceivable accomplishment. His disciple was the wine seller Bilasya Vajra, which in Tibetan is called "Charming Vajra." She was the brewer for a king in the land of Oddiyana. When she was sixteen years old, the teacher Dombi Heruka came to that area and taught the Dharma. The king, who favored non-Buddhists, was not subdued. The teacher went to the wine seller and asked her, and she said, "If threatened with snakes, he can be subdued." Thereupon, the teacher contemplated, and venomous and harmful snakes surrounded the king's house. The king was frightened and had no other refuge. The wine seller said, "These non-Buddhist teachers cannot protect you. Pray to Dombipa." The king also prayed from his heart, and when the teacher came there, all the venomous snakes went underground. The king and his retinue all developed faith in Buddhism and are said to have made offerings to the teacher for a long time. There, that wine seller...

Seeing that he was capable, Dombipa and Binapa gave him initiation and teachings. When he became a capable yogi, Lady Laksmikara showed the teachings of great bliss. Teacher Binapa showed the inconceivable teachings, so he became the chief of the yoginis with radiant vajra mind. He did immeasurable benefit to beings, and was also known as the yogi Cintā. He gave the teachings to Vajra Ghantapa, that teacher was a royal family near Oḍiśa, and was ordained in Nālandā. He was named Wisdom Heart Glorious. Later, he became a great scholar and defeated the heretics, so he was known as the god who overcomes enemies. It is said that he was also once appointed as the abbot of Nālandā. Then, he met the accomplished Dārika. After requesting initiation and suchness, he was meditating. He received a prophecy that going to Oḍḍiyāna would bring accomplishment. When he went to Oḍḍiyāna, he met the yogini Bilasya, who had taken the form of a pig herder. She also showed the inconceivable Great Seal, the aspect of great desire. Therefore, he completely understood suchness, and meditated in the forest of eastern Oḍiśa. When he gave birth to the special realization of the two stages, the king of the country came to the forest to hunt and saw him. He thought, this monk with no livelihood is so pitiful, and invited him to come to the city. The teacher said: Do not despise those wise men who are well versed in the nature of things, for they cannot be bound by wealth that is smaller than a small blade of grass. Like a black gutter where wine drips continuously, elephants cannot be bound by thin lotus threads. Thus spoke the teacher. Thereupon the king thought: This monk despises me. I will give him a low revenge. So he proclaimed in the city: Whoever can defeat this monk in the depths of the forest will be given a great reward. Then a wine seller agreed. After that, she always provided food for the teacher. At another time, the wine seller had a daughter named Padmavati, who possessed all the characteristics of a field-born being.
