Nearby, inside a temple, depict the Buddha and his retinue residing, and the two of them going towards the temple. Near the Buddha's figure, depict that merchant having transformed into the appearance of an ordained monk, and the manner of him going to another place. Depict him meditating in a secluded place near a small town. Also, in another direction, in a distant place, depict ships sailing on the great ocean, and on an island on the far side of the ocean, many merchants cutting sandalwood trees. As the ship returns laden with excellent sandalwood, depict a black wind rising, the ocean churning, and the people inside the ship folding their palms in prayer. In the center of the ship, depict that monk seated in full lotus posture, and the wind turning back, the churning of the ocean subsiding. From the corner of the ship, depict that monk and a yaksha with a rakshasa body speaking from the water. Then, depict the ship arriving at the shore, and nearby, the arrangement of building a temple from sandalwood trees, and the monk and a householder looking at each other. And offering their hair and nails, a stupa is built in the city of Baguli (Sanskrit: Vakulī-nagara) called "Land." In another place, paint the unpleasant scenes of the land turning white and black, trees withering, etc., and the pleasant scenes of meadows, trees, and water, etc., that are related to it, where many non-hermits reside. At one end of it, paint the Buddha teaching the Dharma to those hermits, who instantly become monks, and they fly and depart in the sky together with the Buddha. On the other side, in the center of the city called "City of Students," there is a palace with eighteen gates, with one prince at each of the seventeen iron gates, and a king at one gate. They are all holding incense burners, and other people are also offering various offerings and watching. In front of the king, three patrons and one bhikkhu are telling the king. There are also some bhikkhus in front of the king who come from the sky without landing. Also, golden rays of light emanate from the Buddha's heart, and the rays cover the sky above the city like light. On the other side of those bhikkhus in the sky, a little higher in the sky, there are arhats riding lions, tigers, elephants, horses, snakes, cows, and garudas, etc., and those who are riding in vehicles and entering pavilions, with clouds emanating from their bodies and lightning flashing, and some emerging from the middle of the earth, etc. On that side, all beings such as gods and nagas make offerings to the Buddha, and golden light also comes from his heart. Also, in the center of that city with a similar shape, the king and others prostrate to the arriving Buddha, and all the kings make offerings to the Buddha residing in the pavilion. Adjacent to it is a sandalwood pavilion, with the Buddha residing in the center. The inside and outside of the pavilion are surrounded by various retinues listening to the Dharma, and the pavilion also becomes clear inside and out like crystal.

In the ocean, the two nagas emanate clouds from their bodies, causing a great rain of water streams to fall. These water streams merge into one and appear on the shore. A monk is depicted taking water from there in a bowl and offering it to the Bhagavan, along with many other offerings. Then, the Bhagavan and an arhat are depicted ascending into the sky. Beyond that, separated by the clear blue sky, is a perfect and prosperous land. In between are many small representations of the four continents and Mount Meru, with an arhat on the summit of each Mount Meru. In that pure land on the other side, a young girl runs towards that arhat. The Buddha is depicted teaching the Dharma to that girl, and a crowd of people is drawn, going to the city of lightning. This is the section on going to the radiant pure land. (ཚ) Also, in the center of a forest, the Teacher is residing, and many people are depicted making offerings. Also, near that, many Brahmins are surrounding the Teacher's body, and in front of the body, slightly below and further away, a young Brahmin is wearing shoes with cut straps, raising his hand and appearing to go elsewhere. Also, next to a similar depiction of that Brahmin boy, Vajrapani is depicted residing, threatening him with a blazing vajra. In front of the Teacher's body, that Brahmin is depicted with his palms joined. In a similar forest scene nearby, the Teacher, together with the Sangha, is being offered excellent food and circumambulated by an old Brahmin. Monks residing in various forests are depicted being beaten by one monk. Also, on one side of that, the Bhagavan is depicted teaching the Dharma to that old Brahmin. On the other side of that scene, at a slight distance, on one side of a large house, the previous Brahmin boy is sitting in front of the old Brahmin and speaking. On the other side of the house, that old Brahmin is wearing shoes with cut straps.

(ཛ) Then again, another gesture: two snakes coiled around Mount Meru, one snake exhaling, many birds and wild animals falling, and one snake devouring them. On another side, two great snakes coiled and lying down, an Arhat walking on them, the Arhat walking inside the snake's belly, clearly visible inside and out, the Arhat emerging from the snake's nostrils with miracles, and the scene of two great snakes being pressed down by a very large snake. And in another mansion, two householders are depicted in front of the Teacher, and many gestures of offering are made to both of them. In a mansion with houses inside and out, two householders are sitting in front of the Bhagavan, and a king is also depicted prostrating to the Bhagavan. On one side of the gate of the temple, two long rows of precious iron fences are extended, and on top of them are depicted people with snake heads holding weapons. Outside another gate, there is a scene of the king leaving with his retinue, and on the left and right sides of the gate, some people wearing armor and holding swords are also depicted. On the other side, in a place with a corridor that has just the appearance of a palace, the king, queen, ministers, and attendants are there, and in the sky above, there are terrifying black clouds.
