May you have the fortune to attain enlightenment! May you have the fortune to generate extraordinary faith by speaking sweet Dharma words! May you have the fortune to establish pure practice in accordance with the meaning of the perfections! May you have the fortune to never regress and purify the path through meaningful conduct! Thus, having perfected the two accumulations, may you have the fortune to quickly attain the state of omniscient Buddhahood! Without experiencing the suffering of the lower realms, and even without practicing austerities, having obtained a body superior to the gods, may you quickly attain Buddhahood! As soon as this impure body is abandoned, may you be miraculously born in Sukhavati! As soon as you are born, may you perfectly complete the ten bhumis, and may you benefit beings in the ten directions through emanations! Recite "The mandala of the Victorious Ones is excellent," etc. If there are also monastics who rejoice in this, then at the beginning of the dedication, it should be said, "Please keep in mind the rejoicing at this time." At times when there are large gatherings of monastics, etc., related to great roots of virtue, if a speech is needed, then it should be given. Then, if dedicating for the deceased, if there are relatives, etc., descendants, then afterwards, the dedication for the living, whether extensive or concise, should be completed. Even if there are none, one should say, "Furthermore, taking this root of virtue as a representation," and so on, until "all power and ability increase more and more, and the sole source of benefit and happiness, until auspiciousness is complete." If offering and dedicating in a special place, then when requesting remembrance, the name of the lama should not be mentioned, as in the dedication for the living. Thus, offering to the lama and the Three Jewels, giving to the assembly of beings, etc., should be combined with the virtuous deeds of that time. Furthermore, with this vast accumulation of merit, gathered by listening, contemplating, and meditating, etc., which is gathered by merit and wisdom, may it be offered to the venerable spiritual friend, or the great Vajradhara. May all the offerings be accepted by you for the benefit of others, and may your profound and extraordinary intention be increasingly fulfilled! Wherever you reside

In that realm, may endless clouds of offerings arise continuously! May there be not even a moment's interruption to body, speech, mind, activities, and enlightened activities! May all the qualities of realization on the grounds and paths increase and expand more and more! Having quickly shown the stages of perfect enlightenment, may all limitless beings have the fortune to be established in the three vehicles of enlightenment! By this virtue, may all beings, like the youth Manjushri, please the holy lama who is like an ocean of qualities! In all lifetimes, may I never be separated from the true lama, etc. If you wish to elaborate a little, you can supplement it with the general dedication mentioned during the dedication of life release, etc., as appropriate. A very concise dedication that can be applied to both the living and the dead is: Please listen as before. Through the power of this root of virtue and the accumulation of the roots of virtue of the three times, may the afflictions, meditative absorptions, and obscurations of knowledge accumulated from beginningless samsara by the one called so-and-so, living or deceased, be purified and cleansed from their roots! May the aggregates of merit, wisdom, and discipline be completely perfected! Thus, may there be not even a moment's interruption to the purification of the two obscurations and the accumulation of the two accumulations! May I quickly attain the state of perfect enlightenment, the possessor of the four bodies and five wisdoms! May all sentient beings tormented by the three sufferings have the fortune to be established in the ultimate, uncontaminated bliss! In that case, if it is for the deceased, recite the sufferings of the lower realms, etc., and if it is a dedication for the living, recite the attainment of the three bodies of the Buddha, etc., and recite auspicious verses as appropriate. Furthermore, if you are making a dedication at the time of ordination or teaching, it is mostly the same as the general dedication for the living, except that after the request for attention, recite that the living being or spiritual friend named so-and-so has gone forth from home to homelessness, has taken the vows of individual liberation as the root of all the holy Dharma, and protects the teachings by upholding the conduct of the saffron robe.

May the power of the ocean of Buddhas, the power of all gathered into one, ensure that all these aspirations are definitely fulfilled, fulfilled quickly and without obstacles, and supremely, greatly, and powerfully fulfilled. In all lifetimes, may I have unwavering faith in the Lama and the Three Jewels, and may genuine compassion and bodhichitta arise without ever ceasing. May I always obtain the position of a fully ordained monk, and may I protect the precepts, such as the two hundred and fifty, without the slightest violation, just as they are taught in the ocean of the Vinaya. May I practice all the bodhisattva's trainings as the sons of the Buddhas do, and may I perfect the practice of the ten perfections, completing the two accumulations of merit and wisdom. In particular, having entered the door of the Vajrayana, entering and seeing all the profound mandalas, and having obtained all the wonderful stages of empowerment, may I nurture all the seeds of the four kayas. May I be free from the defilement of faults and transgressions against the supreme samaya, and may I protect all the samayas properly, with no thought of transgression by the vidyadharas, and with the practice of acceptance and rejection, prohibition and permission, meditative equipoise, and subsequent action. To all Vajra Masters, and especially to you, the venerable savior, the protector, may I always be inseparable, always be cared for, and may all connections be only in the direction of goodness. May I have unwavering devotion and longing for you, and may my connection with you never be mistaken, and may I accomplish with joy and delight whatever comes from your instructions. If I am willing to enter even the Avici hell when fulfilling your instructions, what need is there to mention anything else? Without selfishness, may I accomplish whatever you say and whatever pleases your heart. You are the one who pervades all of samsara and nirvana, and your activity of subduing beings is spontaneously accomplished. However, whatever good or bad conduct you show in appearance, may I realize that it is only the activity of the Buddhas. May not even a trace of the stain of wrong view arise, and as it is said in all the sutras and tantras, may I always please the holy Lama with all my actions, enjoyments, and activities of the three doors. In all lifetimes, may I fulfill your intentions, uphold your teachings, and accomplish your activities.

May all follow you, and may I serve your teachings. May the sound of your Dharma spread throughout the three realms, and may all humans and non-humans follow it. May this pure sect's good views and conduct spread in all times and directions. May I truly realize your intentions, fully grasp all the secrets of your words, understand your intentions as they are, and eliminate the stain of error, even as small as a drop of sesame oil. May I effortlessly and spontaneously achieve in all my lives, attain the supreme wisdom of holding all the Dharma, obtain the unfailing Dharani, possess supreme diligence, and always act like the holy Dharma. May I completely destroy demons, heretics, evil views, and wrong views, and place all in the Dharma, place the non-believers in the place of faith, may I accomplish such limitless methods. May I be free from illness, possess noble lineage and beautiful form, enjoyment, power, and friends, retinue and servants, etc., all complete, and through always practicing virtuous Dharma, accomplish the peak of all benefits for myself and others. May I instantly eliminate all that is contrary to the teachings of the venerable you, and accomplish the activity of spreading the light of your victorious teachings in all directions. May I stay away from bad friends, wrong livelihoods, and all obstacles, even if I suffer for the Dharma, my mind will not waver, may I always mature limitless beings, even in decline, may I act according to the Dharma. May I quickly obtain the Dharma power of Samadhi, become a wise one among some, and an accomplished one among others, and propagate the teachings through various incarnations such as kings, small kings, ministers, messengers, and retinue. May I quickly attain unsurpassed Bodhi, and until then, may I constantly obtain the inconceivable perfection of rebirth and peace, and accomplish the great cause of Dharma and beings. May I obtain the stable deity yoga of the generation stage, perfect the power of mantra recitation, effortlessly accomplish all activities such as pacifying, and obtain all common worldly attainments. May I stabilize the perfection stage of innate wisdom, for the one who speaks of wisdom, only wisdom itself can accomplish all that is desired, may I obtain the great Mudra that transcends the world. May I quickly and without hindrance perfect the qualities of the path as described above.
