It is said at the time of holding a feast. Relying on these, one can cut off external elaborations, and the meaning of the nature of reality arises manifestly within. Relying on these symbols, it is the key to generate experience that transcends limits. Therefore, one must understand the nature of symbols. By understanding these, one can cut off the elaborations of words and letters. So, to whom was such meaning transmitted? It was transmitted to the incarnate Garab Dorje. Who transmitted it? It was transmitted by glorious Vajradhara. How was the transmission done, or what was the method? All secret mantras are transmitted relying on various symbols. How is it transmitted as an example? Just like filling from one full vase to another full vase, it is transmitted without any excess or deficiency. Why is it transmitted? It is transmitted so that fortunate ones of future times may simultaneously generate definite meaning. Having transmitted in this way, what is the necessity? The necessity is to attain the fruit of Buddhahood without confusion, and without being able to add descriptions with minds of all kinds of conceptualization. Thereafter, three hundred and sixty years after the Buddha's Nirvana, in the land of Oddiyana Thorchokchen in the west of Vajrasana in India, in a place called Dhanakosha Island, surrounded by sandalwood tree groves, there is a creature called Kosha, with a human body and a bear's face, its claws filled with iron claws, its entrails filled with countless jewels, this is Dhanakosha Island. Dhana refers to the sandalwood groves. Then, in a great temple called Tashi Deye Tsekpa, there are six thousand eight hundred small temples surrounding all directions, and between these temples are connected with golden bells and pleasant net-like ropes, which are very beautiful and delightful, and the people there are well-proportioned and have stout limbs, with their hair tied in a topknot on their heads, adorned with gold, silver, pearls, and so on, and wearing various red and white cloths. The women tie their hair in two buns, one in front and one in back. They are adorned with various conch and bone ornaments. In that land, there was a king named Uparaja, and a mother named Nangwa Salwai Odenma.

There were two daughters, named Sudharama. A Bhikshuni who had not been ordained for long, and had not received the full Bhikshuni ordination for long. Then, one measure away to the west, on an island in the ocean strewn with golden sand, a thatched hut was erected, and a female attendant named "Happy Compassion," a Dakini, was taking care of it. The goddess who was practicing Dharma dreamed in the night: a white person made of precious crystal, about the length of a spear, on his head, on a precious crystal vase, were the letters (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization:, Literal Chinese meaning:), as a sign of the empowerment of the five families, sealed with these, placed three times on the top of the head, and the light emitted from that vase illuminated the three realms at once. Then, the next day, she was very surprised by that dream, and told the attendant during the hot season. That attendant said: This is a sign that a manifestation body will be born to you, goddess. That attendant was the Dakini Purnanevashiva. The goddess thought: What does that mean? Then, the goddess became unwell and suffered greatly. Then, after nine months and ten days, the goddess gave birth to a fatherless son from the space of the right rib. When he was born, that Bhikshuni was very frightened. From her mouth came: This fatherless son, if not a ghost of the world, who could it be? Is it a demon of the world or Brahma, etc.? Is it the lineage of King Tsen and Mu, etc.? In the three realms, who is desirous? If it is a god or a non-god of various forms, no one has ever seen such a thing happen. Whose will this country without Dharma be? Alas! I desire to transcend the pure precepts, this is truly a great sin punished by perverse lust! She spoke many verses and suffered greatly. That attendant said: Even if you say this is a son of the Buddha, she would not listen, and said, throw him into the ash pit, stir him, and leave him there. After throwing him into the ash pit, light and sound, etc., occurred. Then, after three days, they looked and he was making faint sounds, unharmed. Again, they picked him up with a spotless white cloth.
