Dharma. All faults and virtues, Whatever is practiced without bondage or liberation, Practice is Samantabhadra's practice. From the Tantra of the Great Samantabhadra's Self-Abiding, Chapter Two: The Conduct of Samantabhadra. Then this activity of Samantabhadra was spoken. What appears as conventional objects, All that appears as vessel and essence as entities, In the nature of Dharma, the unborn essence, It is contradictory to analyze with names and words. Whatever appears in Samantabhadra, Those two play in the mind, How beautiful it is, there is no contradiction. Activity is without effort. Virtuous deeds and sinful deeds, For all the distinctions of deeds, It is mind, spontaneously accomplished without duality, The activity of the Bodhicitta, Transcending thought and non-thought, It is very different from the deeds of the Buddhas. What is practiced without anything, It is the practice of great bliss. The basis, unborn and unarisen, Whatever is practiced with union and liberation, etc., There is no acceptance or rejection of anything, Because there is no acceptance or rejection, the activity is good. It is the activity of Samantabhadra. From the Tantra of the Great Samantabhadra's Self-Abiding, Chapter Three: The Activity of Samantabhadra. Then this Samantabhadra Samaya was spoken. I, mine, sides, and factions, Even the distinctions of incompatible faults, In Samantabhadra, there is no difference, It cannot be protected by discriminating good and bad. With the vastness of the space without beginning or end, In the Dharma-nature Samantabhadra, There is no change from the realm of equality. Not creating strife is indulgence. The pleasure of attachment and the enemy of afflictions, There is no duality, it is one's own mind. Mind does not have mind as an enemy, You, the self-nature, are the only Buddha. The god of truth and the obstructing demon, There is no duality, it is beyond thought. Even if searched for, it cannot be found, It is the spontaneously accomplished Samaya. Samantabhadra Bodhicitta, In the unchanging and imperishable, Protecting without distraction or bias, It is the Samantabhadra Samaya. From the Tantra of the Great Samantabhadra's Self-Abiding, Chapter Four: The Samaya of Samantabhadra. Then this Self-Nature Samantabhadra was spoken. The Dharma-nature of mind, this self-nature, Unborn, it is Buddha from the beginning, Pervading all, this appearance, It is not made or modified by the Victorious Ones. All good and evil

And, such as high and low, large and small, the nature is inseparable Bodhicitta, the wise cannot modify or seek it. There is no good or bad, large or small, high or low. Faults and virtues, poison and medicine, grasping and discriminating are like the behavior of children. By nature, there is no substantiality at all. Likewise, the nature of all dharmas and, in the Alaya, the Samantabhadra, cause and effect, suffering and happiness cannot be found. The nature is Samantabhadra. The Fifth Chapter, the Chapter of the Nature of Samantabhadra, from the Root Tantra of the Great Self-Existing Samantabhadra is completed. Then, the Bhagavan Glorious Samantabhadra, I prostrate to the nature of mind, whatever it is. At one time, when this was heard, understood, and known, the teacher Samantabhadra, residing in the mind of Samantabhadra, spoke these teachings, the Root Tantra of the Great Self-Existing Samantabhadra. Whoever, as a yogi, wishes to realize it, should listen to this Tantra of Samantabhadra. Whoever, as a person endowed with the meaning of realization, wishes to know these, should definitely explain this scripture. Among them, those who wish to realize this Root Tantra of the Great Self-Existing Samantabhadra must definitely keep these sixteen great ones in mind. What are the sixteen great ones? Mind is great from the beginning, Dharmata is great from the beginning, arising is great from the beginning, wisdom is great from the beginning, body is great from the beginning, body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities are great from the beginning, faults and virtues are great from the beginning, samsara and the lower realms are great from the beginning, the higher realms and nirvana are great from the beginning, skillful means are great from the beginning, wisdom is great from the beginning, the cause of faults is great from the beginning, the cause of virtues is great from the beginning, the Buddha is great from the beginning, sentient beings are great from the beginning, and conceptual thought is great from the beginning. The Sixth Chapter, the Chapter of the Sixteen Great Ones, from the Root Tantra of the Great Self-Existing Samantabhadra is completed. Then, it was taught that mind is great from the beginning. Samantabhadra, my mind, shows all the vast play. Great delusion is my mind. There is no Buddha superior to delusion. From the wisdom of great delusion, free from arising, feeling, and conceptual thought, the unconditioned Prajnaparamita, delusion arises as the great king. The Buddha is the victorious and supreme one, desire.
