Without passing away, that is the essence of samsara accomplished. O great Bodhisattva! Do not look to others for what you do not have yourself. Stay quietly where there is nowhere to go. Abide in the fundamental place, do not emerge outwards. It is inherently so, do not seek anew. When self-arisen wisdom is brought forth from the fundamental place, various signs meet with the Dharma. By examining and analyzing this, the essence of the three realms of samsara is accomplished. When self-arisen wisdom is brought forth from the fundamental place, By looking without looking, obscurations of not seeing arise. By searching without searching, the wrong path of non-accomplishment arises. O great Bodhisattva! Actions that are contrived are not pure actions. Samadhi with fixation is not pure meditation. Wisdom with clarity is not pure wisdom. Results that are achieved are not pure results. If there is bias, the view is not pure. If there is change, the nature of Dharma is not pure. Actions that arise are not pure actions. Without fixation, it is not pure meditation. Without clarity and obscuration, it is not pure wisdom. Spontaneously accomplished wisdom is not pure wisdom. Without bias, the view is not pure. Without change, the nature of Dharma is not pure. O great Bodhisattva, therefore, in the state of Dharma as it is, let the mind abide as it is. Let the senses be unrestrained, the awareness be vast, and the body and mind abide without contrivance. Do not gather the senses that wander to objects. Do not separate objects and senses, let them abide naturally. Do not grasp phenomena by their characteristics, let them abide naturally. If it is equipoise, then seek post-meditation like searching for a horse. Thus it was said. Again, it was requested: O Lord of Secrets! With the key of metaphorical words, open the secret door of meaning, please reveal that meaning to me. The Lord of Secrets said: O great Bodhisattva, listen! With the key of metaphorical words, open the secret door of meaning, and the meaning is revealed as follows: Like forms and so on that appear in the sky, in the clear great ocean, they are completely perfect without being mixed with it. Similarly, all phenomena, in the face of non-dual wisdom, are completely perfect without being mixed with it. Like forms and so on that appear in the sky, The clear great ocean has no taking or rejecting, no grasping or abandoning. Forms and so on that appear in the sky, reflections in the water arise naturally.

When awareness dawns in the sky of the ground of all, the power of awareness arises intensely. Like forms appearing in the sky and reflections in water, they are neither the same nor different. Similarly, the king of awareness and the appearances of awareness's play are neither the same nor different. For example, in the single expanse of the sky, countless reflections appear in water. Likewise, in the single nature of awareness, countless powers of awareness arise. For example, the moon in water appears, yet it has no inherent existence. Similarly, the appearances of awareness's play appear, yet they have no inherent existence. In a mixture of five colors, one cannot definitively identify one as 'this.' Likewise, although there is no separation, nothing is abandoned. In the wisdom that gathers all phenomena, one cannot definitively identify one as 'this.' Likewise, although there are individual distinctions, nothing is abandoned. The names of various silks disappear when they are made into coarse cloth. Similarly, when all phenomena are gathered into non-dual wisdom, the names of various phenomena disappear, merging into the single great bindu of non-duality. All objects made of gold have different names and shapes, but their essence is the same as gold. Similarly, all phenomena labeled by the mind have different names and shapes, but their nature is indivisible and one. For example, on a single piece of cotton cloth, different colors appear due to dyes, but they are indivisible as cotton. Likewise, the single cause of phenomena appears differently due to the senses, but the nature of phenomena is indivisible and one. Near clear crystal balls, placing cloths of various colors causes them to appear according to what is placed, but the crystal remains unchanged. Similarly, in the single stream of mind-essence, beings of the six realms appear differently due to the ripening of karma, but there is no change in the nature of reality. When the single essence of gold is transformed by the work of a craftsman, and a large statue is made, the gold appears as a crafted object. When a copper incense burner is made, the gold appears as an inferior object. Likewise, when the single essence of reality is labeled by those with delusion, the environment appears as an impure world, a dangerous place, cliffs, and deep valleys.
