The teacher who teaches thusness, from the blessings of no arising, all phenomena that appear, teaches in suchness. The teacher who teaches essence, all phenomena that appear, arises as the body of emptiness, and teaches that essence is not apart from it. The teacher who teaches words and sounds, gathers all phenomena into the sound of meaning, and to sentient beings who are ignorant and unknowing, teaches that meaning by combining words and sounds. The three teachings are as follows: the teaching of the Dharmakaya is taught in suchness, and there is no differentiation in suchness. All phenomena that appear are suchness because they are the essence of mind. Whoever modifies and meditates on that, does not realize the teaching of the Dharmakaya. The Dharma-nature Bodhicitta, which is without appearance, is not realized as the un mistaken suchness. Whoever modifies and meditates on that, does not recognize their own unmodified mind. Phenomena and existence, Dharma, and phenomena and existence, Bodhicitta, the mind extracts suchness as suchness, and without realizing suchness, they see them separately. If suchness is sought from the Dharmadhatu, even if the Buddhas of the three times seek it, they will not find it. The teaching of the Sambhogakaya is in enjoyment, the five enjoyments are one Dharma-nature enjoyment. In the enjoyment of all Buddhas and sentient beings, there is no enjoyment greater than the Sambhogakaya. The five enjoyments, such as form, have five each, making twenty-five enjoyments. The enjoyment of twenty-five is the aspect of the five bodies, and it is said to be the essence of the meaning of Dharma-nature. The teaching of the Nirmanakaya accomplishes the benefit of others through compassion. For sentient beings in the three realms with different thoughts, all thoughts are transformed by the compassion of body, speech, and mind. The retinue that holds that is taught in three ways: the retinue of exceedingly yogic, diligent, accomplished, and transcendent ones, those who have entered the gate, have faith, and abide on the Buddha-ground, the retinue of Vidyadharas and those on the first to tenth Bhumis, those who have not attained, abide on the ground of near attainment and meditation, the retinues of those who generate Bodhicitta, have aspiration, and practice, abide on the ground of cause, virtue, fruition, and destroying poison. This is taught as the retinue of the three teachers. From the tantra of Vajrasattva, Akasagarbha, Mahabrahma, and the Expanding One, the teacher, the teaching, and the retinue are taught.
