Thirty-two. On the jade peak resides the lord of the gods, Indra. At the gate of that city, there is an elephant named Rabten (Extremely Stable), which has thirty-two golden heads and thirty-three jade heads. It is the elephant ridden and mounted by the lord of the gods, Indra, with a circumference of a thousand yojanas. To the east of that city, there is a tree called Kekeru Chandana. At its base is an elephant called Sa Sung (Earth Protector), whose breath turns the Asura king, Black Mountain, into dust, and from whose trunk emanates a sword of light, a yojana wide. It destroys all Asura battlefields. To the southeast of the lord of the gods, Indra, there is a place called Chosang Lhai Duns (Good Dharma, Divine Assembly Place), which is three hundred yojanas wide and nine hundred yojanas in circumference. The decorations are the same as before; it is the divine assembly place. There resides the god Drakden Chokkyong (Renowned, Supreme Protector), whose right and left eyes are the sun and moon, respectively. His rays gather all the retinues of the gods. From his chest, there is a nectar vase of twelve yojanas, from which he distributes the enjoyment of nectar to the gods. To the southwest, there is a garden called Snatsok Kyi Tsal (Various Trees Garden), which is two hundred and fifty yojanas wide and a thousand yojanas in circumference, and there is also a pool for nectar bathing. On top of a great chariot resides the king of the gods, called Dokzang (Beautiful Color), and the goddess called Utpala bathes the king of the gods and offers Mandarava flowers, each a yojana wide. To the northwest, there is a place called Sazhi Zangpo (Good Ground), which is two hundred and fifty yojanas wide and a thousand in circumference. There resides the Naga king called Jignön (Overpowering Majesty), surrounded by seven cities of the gods. From that land, a hundred different kinds of wish-fulfilling nectar enjoyments are emanated in the evening. To the northeast, there is a garden called Tsupgyur Gyi Tsal (Rough Transformation Garden), which is four hundred and fifty yojanas wide and a hundred yojanas high. There resides the Yaksha, the lord of the Willow Tree.

From his crown, a rain of weapon wheels falls upon the Asuras. In the west, there is a place called the 'Enticement Grove,' where the king of water deities, Magadha, resides. All the sons and daughters of the gods are born transformed on the tree called Ashvaga, and they offer worship with various enjoyments unlike those of humans. In the north, there is a place called the 'Joyful Grove,' where the Yaksha king, Joy, resides. He is satisfied with the joy of intercourse merely by looking at many goddesses. In the north, there is a grove called 'The Gathering Place of Trees,' whose roots are sunk five yojanas deep, its height is one hundred yojanas, its branches are fifty yojanas, and its circumference is three hundred and fifty yojanas. There dwells the son of the gods, the Rakshasa named Byan-khan, and all the gods partake of that nectar. At the root of that tree is a grove called the Amolika Stone Slab, fifty yojanas in width and two hundred in circumference. There is the divine artisan Vishvakarman, who hammers out the wheel of the sun from the solar fire crystal, severing the waist of the Asura lord Tag-sang-re, and the lunar water crystal heals all the goddesses. In the east, at the mouth of the Golden Mountain, the Yoke-Bearing Mountain, is the palace of King Dhritarashtra, made of white crystal, fifty yojanas in width and two hundred in circumference. In the south is the palace of King Virudhaka, made of Vaidurya, two hundred and fifty yojanas in width and one thousand in circumference. In the west is the palace of King Virupaksha, made of red Padma-raga, two hundred and fifty yojanas in width and one thousand in circumference. In the north is the palace of King Vaishravana, made of Indra-nila, three hundred and sixty yojanas in width and one thousand five hundred in circumference. Among those chambers, the eastern palace has three treasuries, the southern has four, the western has six, and the northern has seven. The eastern king is the provider of the Gandharvas, the southern is the provider of Yama, the western is the provider of the Nagas, and the northern is the provider of the Yakshas.
