Sixteen petals. In the center is the enjoyment letter yellow: AUM. On the four sides of the petals are the four elements: Ā Rā Mā Vā. The great bliss wheel is sixty-two. The seed syllables reside facing upwards. HUM. The indestructible mouth looks downwards. That is the dripping Tummo. What is said is truly supreme. Thus, the distinctions of Tummo are, however many are spoken of, shown in the three, outer, inner, and secret. Which is the ultimate Tummo? That is self-arisen wisdom, the great bindu letter is Tummo. Thus, the distinctions of Tummo are, may the yogis know. Thus it was said. From the Tantra of the Buddha Knot, which gathers all the body, speech, mind, and wisdom of all the Tathagatas, the fourth chapter, showing the assembly of Tummo. Then again, Vajrasattva, having spoken of the great joy bindu, the bodhicitta vajra, asked, "Bhagavan, which is the inner mandala of perfection?" Then the Bhagavan entered into samadhi called the Vajra Samadhi. As soon as he had entered, he spoke these words: The way of above and below is, by the nature of support and supported, there are forty-one channels. The main channels are eight, and the ten above and below are, the nature of the ten wrathful ones. Which is the great central channel? The Bhagavan is the main deity of the center. Thus, the body of a yogi, the letter A is gathered and abides. The dharmata channel and the wisdom channel, the self-lineage channel and the quality channel, the means and wisdom channels are, the great HUM and so forth, the wrathful ones, are placed and abide in order. Thus, which are the supports? The ten, such as those that emit sound, abide. Thus, which are the ten? The subtle male and female gatekeepers abide. On that support are the females. Which are the four gatekeepers? Pu Shuk head and so forth. Thus, whichever yogi knows, the completion of the generation stage is, if those with means know that, it is the inner mandala of perfection. Thus it was said. From the Tantra of the Buddha Knot, which gathers all the body, speech, mind, and wisdom of all the Tathagatas, the fifth chapter, showing the inner mandala of perfection. Then again, Vajrasattva, joy

To the great Sattva, I asked thus: Alas, compassionate hero, How is the activity of a Buddha? Where should the activity of wisdom be done? What is called a knot (Tibetan: མདུད་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ग्रन्थि, Sanskrit Romanization: granthi, Chinese literal meaning: knot)? What should be done with everything (Tibetan: ཐམས་ཅད་, Sanskrit Devanagari: सर्व, Sanskrit Romanization: sarva, Chinese literal meaning: everything)? Having been asked thus, the greatly delighted Bindu Bodhicitta spoke: In order to bring happiness to all sentient beings, All joy should be generated. Everything is naturally Bodhicitta, The four immeasurables should be sent forth first. By the distinction of the two truths, That which is beyond expression is Buddha. That which is beyond number is another place, That which is beyond example cannot be shown. The pacification of all elaboration, Is only the reality of Buddha. Therefore, Buddha is the knot (Tibetan: མདུད་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ग्रन्थि, Sanskrit Romanization: granthi, Chinese literal meaning: knot). It is not non-existent, nor is it existent. It is not permanent, nor is it annihilated. It is not coming, nor is it going. It is not existent, nor is it non-existent. If you know all aspects in this way, Everything, everything is a knot (Tibetan: མདུད་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ग्रन्थि, Sanskrit Romanization: granthi, Chinese literal meaning: knot). In the distinction of the two truths, Knowing and understanding is wisdom. It is the abode of supreme knowledge. That itself is self-arisen wisdom, Knot (Tibetan: མདུད་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ग्रन्थि, Sanskrit Romanization: granthi, Chinese literal meaning: knot) is what it is called. Thus he spoke. Then again he taught: How many different Buddhas are there? Summarized, there are five kinds of Buddhas. What is its knot (Tibetan: མདུད་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ग्रन्थि, Sanskrit Romanization: granthi, Chinese literal meaning: knot)? It is the supreme Vajra of body, speech, and mind. The Bhagavan Vajrakumara is it. How many wisdom knots (Tibetan: མདུད་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ग्रन्थि, Sanskrit Romanization: granthi, Chinese literal meaning: knot) are there? Self-arisen wisdom is the knot (Tibetan: མདུད་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ग्रन्थि, Sanskrit Romanization: granthi, Chinese literal meaning: knot). How many different expressions are there? Ultimate reality, free from elaboration, is the knot (Tibetan: མདུད་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ग्रन्थि, Sanskrit Romanization: granthi, Chinese literal meaning: knot). Thus, the outer is like the inner. How many different winds are there? The indestructible bindu is the knot (Tibetan: མདུད་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ग्रन्थि, Sanskrit Romanization: granthi, Chinese literal meaning: knot). How many different channels are there? The all-moving mother channel is the knot (Tibetan: མདུད་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ग्रन्थि, Sanskrit Romanization: granthi, Chinese literal meaning: knot). How many different mind-essences are there? The first joy is the knot (Tibetan: མདུད་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ग्रन्थि, Sanskrit Romanization: granthi, Chinese literal meaning: knot). How many different aggregates are there? The aggregate of consciousness is the knot (Tibetan: མདུད་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ग्रन्थि, Sanskrit Romanization: granthi, Chinese literal meaning: knot). These and other limitless excellences, Whatever is done to whatever is a knot (Tibetan: མདུད་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ग्रन्थि, Sanskrit Romanization: granthi, Chinese literal meaning: knot). Thus he spoke. Then again he said this: How many different empowerments are there? The meaning of the fourth is the knot (Tibetan: མདུད་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ग्रन्थि, Sanskrit Romanization: granthi, Chinese literal meaning: knot). How many different inner heats are there? The co-emergent joy is the knot (Tibetan: མདུད་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ग्रन्थि, Sanskrit Romanization: granthi, Chinese literal meaning: knot). How many different wheels are there? The Dharma wheel is the knot (Tibetan: མདུད་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ग्रन्थि, Sanskrit Romanization: granthi, Chinese literal meaning: knot). How many different samayas are there? The root samaya is the knot (Tibetan: མདུད་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ग्रन्थि, Sanskrit Romanization: granthi, Chinese literal meaning: knot). How many different births are there? The seventh birth is the knot (Tibetan: མདུད་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ग्रन्थि, Sanskrit Romanization: granthi, Chinese literal meaning: knot). Woman is the nature of wisdom, How many differences are there in that? The lotus-possessor is the knot (Tibetan: མདུད་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ग्रन्थि, Sanskrit Romanization: granthi, Chinese literal meaning: knot).
