Having heard this request, the Perfectly Enlightened One instructed: For those who destroy the sacred Dharma, those who violate lineage, those who harm all sentient beings, and those who harbor hatred towards me, I will teach how to subdue them. Listen, O eternal and true one. I have no doubt about my teachings. The method for subduing enemies is as follows: Write the enemy's name and family on "གྲོ་ག་". Take the eyes of a deer entering water, the wings of a fish running in a field, water without sunlight, mix these together, consecrate with ghee and ashes with mantras, and then scatter them in the direction of the house or village. Tie the name tag with thread and place it between the feet. The evil mantra is: པ་ར་ཙོ་ཏ་ནི། (Tibetan) མ་མ་བ་ཏ་ན། (Tibetan) ལ་བ་ལཾ་དུ་ཧཱུཾ། (Tibetan) चेगेमो वशं कुरु नाम स्वाहा (Sanskrit Devanagari) cege mo vaśam kuru nāma svāhā (Sanskrit Romanization) So-and-so subdue name Svaha. ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ནི་ལ། (Tibetan) སྙིང་ཁ་རཀ (Tibetan) ཏྲག་རཀྴ་ཧྲི་ཧྲི་ཧྲི། (Tibetan) དབང་དུ་སྡུས་ཤིག (Tibetan) Om Vajra Nila, Heart Khara, Trag Raksha Hri Hri Hri, Subdue. Please listen, O Great Glorious One. Please instruct, O Supreme Glorious One. Having heard this request, the Supreme Glorious One instructed: For those who destroy the sacred Dharma, those who violate lineage, those who harm all sentient beings, and those who harbor hatred towards me, I will teach how to subdue them with a vajra dagger. Listen, O Glory of Vajrasattva. I have no doubt about my teachings. The supreme subduing short dagger, on the right side, is one finger long, three fingers long, five fingers long, eight fingers long, and twelve fingers long. These are the materials and measurements for the vajra dagger. Make the head of these vajra daggers into a three-faced crossed knot, and also make the lower part into a three-faced crossed knot. Make the crossed knot at the waist also three-faced. Make the tip three-faced, appearing from the mouth of a makara. Then, on the top of the one-finger-long vajra dagger, draw the secret Heruka.
