There is nothing to seek. Even if meditated upon, it is not found. Likewise, if not fabricated, it is not lost. When various phenomena appear in meditation, If meditated upon, one does not abide in its nature. Therefore, it is the realm of children. If examined, it is nonexistent; if left alone, goodness arises. If meditated upon, like names and examples, conceptualizations arise about it. Without an object of focus, it is difficult to examine abiding. Thus it was said. Question: Is the peg of bodhicitta left without meditation? Answer: Without an object of meditation, that is the place of meditation. Attachment to meditation, comfort, and self-grasping are suffering. If one thoroughly understands that there is no place for meditation, Even if one meditates, there is no fault; the dharmadhatu is like the sky. Thus it was said. Question: If there is no fault in meditating on the peg of bodhicitta, then how should one meditate on the very act of meditation? Answer: For phenomena that have not arisen, There is no essence, therefore there is no meditation. By fully abiding in the nature of the sky, Accomplishments are universally renowned. Thus it was said. Question: How should a beginner yogi settle the peg of bodhicitta with their mind? Answer: In the moment of remembering the mind, After the object of the mind is cut off, Abandoning the extreme of arising and feeling, Phenomena are like the sky. Focus on the uninterruptedness of the inexpressible. The meaning is without inversion. The inexpressible samadhi is the best of meditation. This nature of true meaning, Does not take anything, does not abide, Does not hear anything, there is no hearing. Does not do anything, is separate from doing. There is no appearance of anything, That is the supreme of appearances. This nature of the unthinkable, Abide in the unthinkable as it is. In the nature of no self-nature, The mind's mere instant, Unmoving, constantly remember it. Thus it was said. Question: Is it good to focus and remember the peg of bodhicitta in everything? Answer: 201༄༅། ། What is to be meditated upon is not meditation. What is to be clarified is without an object. Thus, whatever the mind meditates upon, In meaning, it is the meditation of the mind, the best of samadhi. Thus it was said. Question: Why should the peg of bodhicitta abide without thought? Answer: In the nature of no appearance, The mind with clinging thoughts does not change. In this meaning that shows equality.

Not attaching the fiction of meaningful emptiness, The un fabricated nature is peaceful, Those with wisdom, free from conceptualizing signs, If they don't fixate on even the slightest existence, How could they grasp arising sensations? The Bodhicitta that abides nowhere, Although not attained through searching, Like illusions dispelled after awakening, The essence of wisdom, free from elaboration, abides. If there is no meditator and nothing to meditate on, Then abiding comfortably in the ultimate state, Is also called meditating on Bodhicitta. Thus it is said. Question: Why does the peg of Bodhicitta, reside in the mind without being an object of the mind? Answer: The Great Vajra Assembly, When abiding in the essence of Bodhicitta, The Dharma of emptiness has no place of emptiness, it does not abide. Bodhicitta has no cause to accomplish Bodhi, it does not abide. Not holding two mind streams for beings. Meaning, one does not fixate on the name of the unborn. Since there is no other mind than that, Where is there anything to fabricate and abide? Like a woman in the sky. Therefore, the sky itself is not to be meditated upon, How can one meditate on the unborn nature of the mind That is unborn itself? The meaning of non-difference between dissimilar and similar, Whoever knows this and abandons all effort, Remaining un fabricated in great equanimity, Is merely referred to as meditation in name. Thus it is said. Question: When meditating on the peg of Bodhicitta, how should one avoid the faults of Samadhi? Answer: By following the arising of thoughts, One will wander in the realm of Samsara. Whatever prevents the movement of arising thoughts, That becomes cessation itself. Without the arising of thoughts, being foolish, One becomes a Tirthika or darkness. If one grasps one thing in the mind as "this", That is a mountain of conceptualizing signs. Since there is no before or after, it is cut off, That is the darkness of annihilation. From the meaning of the ground, for a moment, Whatever moves, arises, ceases, and occurs, From that, thoughts increase greatly, If the number of seeking the path arises, The types of paths will increase, How can nature become the path? The great fault of falling is, The six distractions of signs. Distraction in the nature of objects, Disease and distraction of signs, Attention and bad states, These should be very clear.
