The supreme path goes. Two and a half thousand reside. On top of Mount Sumeru's vase, the thirty-three gods have a city called Delightful to See. It is two thousand five hundred yojanas long and its width is the same. Surrounded by a golden fence of twenty thousand yojanas, the fence is one and a half yojanas high. That city has not enough one thousand gates. The ground is covered with Mandarava flowers, which are soft when pressed and bounce when lifted, for enjoyment. Above it, at four and a half yojanas, is a palace called Supreme Victory, which is one hundred and fifty yojanas long and wide, and one thousand yojanas in circumference. Its stairs, pillars, pillar decorations, beams, and rafters are all made of gold, silver, beryl, and crystal. There are thirty-two gold pillars and thirty-three jade ridges. Inside each ridge are thirty-two pillars. Indra, the lord of the gods, resides on the jade ridge. At the gate of that city is an elephant called Well-Established. It has thirty-two gold heads and thirty-three jade heads. It is the elephant that Indra, the lord of the gods, rides and travels on, and it has a circumference of one thousand yojanas. In the east of that city is a tree called Kikiru Sandalwood. At its root is an elephant called Earth Protector, whose breath turns the Asura king Black Mountain into dust, and whose nose emits a sword of light a yojana wide, which destroys all Asura battles. In the southeast of Indra, the lord of the gods, is a place called Good Dharma Divine Assembly Hall, which is three hundred yojanas long and wide, and nine hundred yojanas in circumference. The decorations are the same as before, and it is the divine assembly hall. There resides a god called Glorious Protector, whose right and left eyes are the sun and moon, and whose rays gather all the gods before him. There is a nectar bathing pond with a width of 250 yojanas and a circumference of 1000 yojanas. On top of a great chariot resides the king of the gods named Beautiful Color. A goddess named Utpala bathes the king of the gods and offers Mandarava flowers, each with a width of one krosha. In the northwest direction, there is a place called Good Land, with a width of 250 yojanas and a circumference of 1000 yojanas. There resides the Naga king named Majestic Subjugator, surrounded by seven cities of gods. From that land, a hundred different kinds of wish-fulfilling nectar enjoyments are manifested each morning and evening. In the northeast direction, there is a garden called Rough Transformation, with a width of 450 yojanas and a height of 100 yojanas. There resides the lord of the Yaksha with garlands, from whose head a rain of weapon wheels falls upon the Asuras. In the west direction, there is a garden called Mixed, where the water god king Magadha resides. On the Ashoka tree, all the sons and daughters of the gods are born through illusion, and they make offerings with various different enjoyments. In the north direction, there is a garden called Joyful, where the Yaksha king Joyful resides. He is satisfied with the pleasure of intercourse simply by looking at many goddesses. In the north direction, there is a garden of the tree called All-Gathering Earth-Piercer, with roots extending five yojanas downwards, a height of one hundred yojanas, branches of fifty yojanas, and a circumference of three hundred and fifty yojanas. There resides the son of the gods named Worldly Artisan, and all the gods enjoy that nectar. At the root of that tree, there is a garden called Amolika Stone Slab, with a width of fifty yojanas and a circumference of two hundred yojanas. There is the celestial craftsman Vishvakarman, who hammers out the wheel of the sun from the solar fire mirror, cutting the waist of the Asura king Copper Thread. The moon water mirror is used to heal all the celestial consorts. To the east is the golden shoulder mountain.
