May I unite with the body of the Great Bliss Father. May the arrogant and haughty gods and demons Protect the Buddha's teachings. Emaho! At this time, it is perfectly complete, Because it is connected and without deficiency, The time has come to explain the great tantra of Padmavangchen Heruka. Emaho! I conceal the intended and unintended, Otherwise, holding on to it is blissful, From the great lineage like an ocean, Please explain the great lineage at this time. Emaho! In the mandala of the mind of Kuntu Zangpo, Representing the profound with symbols, Pour it into the power of my ears, Speak the definitive meaning of the unerring secret instruction. Emaho! The three, Tantra, Transmission, and Secret Instruction, Are like the people, the lord, and the king, One needs the other, greatly adorned, Please explain the Tantra, Transmission, and Secret Instruction. Thus it was requested. Then, the Bhagavan, glorious Padma Heruka himself, from the state of Dharmadhatu like the sky, manifested a body like the sun and moon, the five faces uttered the sound of a horse neighing, the six hands brandished various terrifying weapons, the eight feet suppressed the eight wrathful deities who transcend the world, with the vajra lifting wings, he cut off the clinging to the view, with the precious smiling wings, he rained down the wish-fulfilling jewel-like generosity upon sentient beings, and made this unspeakable declaration. Emaho! Skillful means is unobstructed wisdom, All Buddhas possess the wisdom of knowing, Apart from the wisdom of knowing, there is no other skillful means, If you see that skillful means, other skillful means are like illusions. Wisdom is the unchanging nature of reality, Whether the Buddhas speak or do not speak, Whether sentient beings realize or do not realize, The nature of reality remains unchanged, inherently. If one realizes that skillful means and wisdom, Those sentient beings in samsara who realize it, Are the Great Bliss Dharmakaya, without impurity. Those yogis who realize it in this way, All arrogance turns around and protects the teachings. Therefore, to subdue arrogance, explain this tantra, For the sake of future generations, listen well. Thus it was spoken. From the Tantra of Padmavangchen Subduing Arrogance, the first chapter, the Introduction and the Initiation. Then, the Bhagavan, with the Tantra, Transmission, and Secret Instruction united as one, uttered the sound of E-Vam-Maya (Tibetan: ཨེ་ཝྃ་མ་ཡཱ, Sanskrit Devanagari: एवं माया, Sanskrit Romanization: evam maya, Chinese literal meaning: Thus Illusion).

Thus it was said. This tantra is like the common people, with many activities. All actions are accomplished through the tantra. This scripture is like a king, easy to grasp. The subjects, as they wish, all their needs arise. The oral instruction is like a mother, certainly not deceiving. Like a king, holding one's own territory. If the king does not hold his own territory, then the king will not perform the duties of the subjects. No one can employ the subjects in their tasks. Therefore, through tantra, scripture, and oral instruction, Listen well to the profound explanation of E (Tibetan: ཨེ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ए, Sanskrit Romanization: e, Literal meaning: E), Vam (Tibetan: ཝྂ, Sanskrit Devanagari: वं, Sanskrit Romanization: vaṃ, Literal meaning: Vam), Ma (Tibetan: མ, Sanskrit Devanagari: मा, Sanskrit Romanization: mā, Literal meaning: Ma), Ya (Tibetan: ཡཱ, Sanskrit Devanagari: या, Sanskrit Romanization: yā, Literal meaning: Ya). All tantras possess the five perfections. This is a close indication, residing in E (Tibetan: ཨེ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ए, Sanskrit Romanization: e, Literal meaning: E). The Dharmadhatu Akanishta, and the lotus palace of the queen, The Jambudvipa and the three thousand worlds, all become places of abode. Speech is the clarifier, action is symbolized by Vam (Tibetan: ཝྂ, Sanskrit Devanagari: वं, Sanskrit Romanization: vaṃ, Literal meaning: Vam). The clarifier of emptiness, the three bodies, etc., The Svabhavikakaya, the perfect enjoyment. The Nirmanakaya speaks all the meanings of the Dharma. I am Ma (Tibetan: མ, Sanskrit Devanagari: मा, Sanskrit Romanization: mā, Literal meaning: Ma), the retinue and the gathering. Other than that, the retinue is the Sugata. The assembly of sons, heroes and heroines, fathers and mothers, The assembly of many wrathful deities who subdue the wicked. The inner and outer gods and demons who protect the teachings. The male and female Vidyadharas who listen with faith. Hearing is Ya (Tibetan: ཡཱ, Sanskrit Devanagari: या, Sanskrit Romanization: yā, Literal meaning: Ya), subduing one's own continuum through the teachings. The eighty-four thousand afflictions to be subdued. By explaining so many dharmas, afflictions are pacified. All the wondrous wheels of Dharma are spoken. The perfect stupa, complete with the meaning of the tantra, The view, practice, mandala, empowerment, and samaya, The activities, sadhana, offerings, mantras, samadhi, mudras, etc., With methods and medicines, symbolized by the example of a river. Entrusting for non-decay and growth, and then rejoicing. The instructions that create the conditions are spoken with sound. Although all the scriptures abide in the seven pleasures, They are easy to grasp, similar to the scriptures, therefore called scriptures. The self-existing mandala, generation and accomplishment of wisdom. The completion stage, practicing well. The self-existing mandala is the place and the lord. E (Tibetan: ཨེ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ए, Sanskrit Romanization: e, Literal meaning: E) is the space, the triangular Dharmadhatu. Vam (Tibetan: ཝྂ, Sanskrit Devanagari: वं, Sanskrit Romanization: vaṃ, Literal meaning: Vam) is the sea of blood, characterized by a vase of nectar. Ma (Tibetan: མ, Sanskrit Devanagari: मा, Sanskrit Romanization: mā, Literal meaning: Ma) is the increaser, complete with the great flesh mountain king. Ya (Tibetan: ཡཱ, Sanskrit Devanagari: या, Sanskrit Romanization: yā, Literal meaning: Ya) is the black wind, filled with crossed vajras. The great powerful elements reside in E (Tibetan: ཨེ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ए, Sanskrit Romanization: e, Literal meaning: E), Vam (Tibetan: ཝྂ, Sanskrit Devanagari: वं, Sanskrit Romanization: vaṃ, Literal meaning: Vam), Ma (Tibetan: མ, Sanskrit Devanagari: मा, Sanskrit Romanization: mā, Literal meaning: Ma), Ya (Tibetan: ཡཱ, Sanskrit Devanagari: या, Sanskrit Romanization: yā, Literal meaning: Ya). E (Tibetan: ཨེ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ए, Sanskrit Romanization: e, Literal meaning: E) is the triangular mandala, the supreme palace. Vam (Tibetan: ཝྂ, Sanskrit Devanagari: वं, Sanskrit Romanization: vaṃ, Literal meaning: Vam) is the moon shape that subdues the three realms. Ma (Tibetan: མ, Sanskrit Devanagari: मा, Sanskrit Romanization: mā, Literal meaning: Ma) is the increaser,
