To the teacher of the three times, the lord of samsara and nirvana, I asked thus: Ho! The body that appears without remainder, like the sky, Radiantly clear like the essence of the sun, Possessing compassion with emptiness, wisdom, and skillful means. You have erected the essence of emptiness and compassion, How do the elements of the body abide in the body of nectar? How are the steps of progression accomplished on the path? What is the fruit of the accomplishment and power for oneself and others? For the benefit of beings, please speak now. Thus it was said. Then, the Bhagavan, having accepted to speak, said this: From the beginning, the basis where the nectar body abides, That itself is the path of practice and progression, The fruit of maturity and completion. Having well-arranged the interdependence on the body, Having determined everything, For the sake of transcending samsara and sorrow, Having explained well with symbolic meaning, For the benefit of beings, listen well! Thus, the Sambhogakaya explained with symbolic meaning. From the Tantra of Nectar of Great Bliss, the chapter of Introduction and Initiation, the first chapter. Then, the Bhagavan, the perfectly enlightened Buddha, spoke for the sake of beings about the reality of the basis, the nature of things: Kyeho! This great indivisibility of samsara and nirvana, Unbound and unfreed, is awareness itself. From all that exists, I arose first, Abiding in the great nectar of indivisibility. Due to ignorance, karma, and afflictions, The three realms appear as samsara. In the time without beginning or end, The container and its contents, samsara, appear as illusion. Ignorance itself is wisdom, Karma itself is the self-appearance of bliss, The five families, lords of wisdom, Are the ancestors of the Buddhas of the three times. Nectar abides in the bodies of sentient beings, The great self-arisen nectar, The mind of enlightenment is the root of the cause. Thirty plus two, That is the two-in-one Samantabhadra form, It is the nature of the ultimate form. The three main ones of that are: Wisdom, Samadhi, Lalana The nature of skillful means, Rasana That itself is the non-dual form. Avadhuti (藏文:ཨ་བ་དྷཱུ་ཏཱི།,梵文天城体:अवधूती,梵文罗马拟音:avadhūtī,汉语字面意思:阿瓦都帝) is the place where Dharma arises, Well-abiding in that mandala, The unmoving mover, Lalana (藏文:ལ་ལ་ནཱ།,梵文天城体:ललना,梵文罗马拟音:lalanā,汉语字面意思:拉拉那), The Rakta mover, Rasana (藏文:ར་ས་ནཱ།,梵文天城体:रसना,梵文罗马拟音:rasanā,汉语字面意思:惹萨那), Avadhuti (藏文:ཨ་བ་དྷཱུ་ཏཱི།,梵文天城体:अवधूती,梵文罗马拟音:avadhūtī,汉语字面意思:阿瓦都帝) is the cause of Bodhicitta. All phenomena of samsara and nirvana, All have the nature of subtle subtlety, That is called Lalana All phenomena are inexpressible.
