The sphere equal to the sphere, The three wisdoms of omniscience, Are of the nature of indivisible oneness, Yet one cannot be spoken of as one. Those who do not understand this are sentient beings, If understood, the Buddha is not elsewhere. The nature of the Bodhi mind, Seems impossible to indicate with signs. Unseeable, difficult to contemplate, Vast, expansive, and profound, It is realized through extreme depth, From where does it come, where does it not go? It is not an act of coming and going. Difficult to contemplate, extremely unseeable, Neither end nor center is ever present. The self-awareness free from grasping and being grasped, Appears there in a manner without object. The sphere and the wisdom of the sphere, Are merely a name for self-awareness. Since self-awareness cannot be shown, May all sentient beings without exception, Comprehend it in this way. May they be free from afflictions and suffering, And attain the supreme fruit. With the root of great compassion, Towards all sentient beings without exception, May the vehicle of compassion be unceasing, For the sake of liberating them from the path of afflictions, Embrace all beings with loving-kindness. Likewise, in the prison of samsara, Extend the great lasso of compassion, And draw them out from the mud of afflictions. Do not tire of great compassion, Likewise, towards ordinary people, May they not be stained by the obscurations of karma, And may all manifestly awaken to enlightenment, Do not regret these joys. Towards sentient beings, self and no-self, Do not make a dualistic thought with compassion, But settle the mind as if towards an only child. May all be without defilement. Since all phenomena are emptiness, There is no reality or conception in it. Abiding in the nature of space, There is no alteration or transformation in it. All phenomena are without characteristics, Since all appearances are unreal, All that exists and does not exist, Is unseeable because it is without characteristics. Even the various appearances of phenomena, That are transcendent and mundane, Are not other than oneself, Therefore, there is no longing or attachment to anything. All Bodhi minds, Are difficult to grasp and profound, Therefore, it is not the domain of conceptual thought. Unseen, unseeable, without object, How is the nature of mind itself? That Bodhi is mind. Since mind and Bodhi are inseparable, All sentient beings without exception, And all phenomena of the three times are, All without exception, are Dharma.

783 Tsong! Mind and Bodhi are merged into one, The unfeigned hero speaks thus. A man with excellent intellect, Acts without hindrance in everything. In the very act of practice, there is no attachment, And he abides equally without end. Thus, all appearances, Although seen and examined by direct perception, Yet in appearance, there is no substance. Understand it as it is, in its true nature. If one says there is existence in emptiness, It is understanding the nature of non-existence. Like a rabbit's horn and a barren woman's child, Though words can be applied, All are merely names, empty in themselves. All, without exception, are said to be empty, Not an inert, unconscious mass, But a self-luminous nature free from thought. Thus, all appearances, Are not phenomena with substance, But are solely the nature of knowing. When all is realized as non-dual, That itself is the ultimate realm, Not to be sought or placed elsewhere. If sought with existence, it becomes an imputation; If sought with non-existence, it becomes a denial; If sought from both existence and non-existence, Then it becomes something not to be taught. Though there is no conceptualization, There is nothing that it does not know. Such is the view of yoga. Though in words there is before and after, Meditate on the meaning as complete all at once. If the meaning of such is realized, Walking, sleeping, sitting, dwelling, 784 and enjoying, There is no decline from the Mahayana meditation. Those with evil minds who do not realize the meaning above as supreme, After scattering their minds equally, Become lazy and indolent through non-realization, And go to lower realms without accomplishing the goal. If equality is not realized by the mind, Equality in words will not lead to attainment. Therefore, make meaning and words concordant, But it is accomplished through being without doubt. By realizing the great meaning of yoga, Meditate thus without end. Qualities are equal to the extent of the sky. The field of activity is solely Buddhahood. Always possessing a great accumulation of merit, Through effort without action, By that, take the essence of Bodhi. Thus are the words of Vajra Secret. The thirty-first chapter is complete. Then, the Bhagavan, the Great Delight, in order to make the mantra holders meaningful, from the essence of the Vajra Secret, determining that very nature, gathering all into mudras, examining all outer and inner vessels and contents in this way, protecting the vows of the mudras, is the place of the vows, gathering into mudras.
