The example of the Bhagavan being without attachment is: In the land of India, although there was no wealthy Brahmin with herds of cows, the Bhagavan, by the Nara River, in the grove of light, made an elephant out of incense. Later that year, a cow gave birth to a calf of incense. The cow circled around the incense elephant and remained. However, there was no attachment to the incense elephant, just as a cow has a calf. The Bhagavan's body and attire became like the Lotus Buddha, and the mother and child enjoyed the meaning, so this is also the supreme lineage. Like this, from the state of Dharma without object, the transmission of body, speech, and mind arose. This also has no self-nature, it is substance and measure, because there is no grasper and grasped, it becomes like the expanse of empty space. In the Sutra beyond the world it says: Like this, the three times are unchanging, this is the Dharmakaya of permanence, it is said to be the self-nature of all things. That is also naturally self-arisen from the beginning, because it is great wisdom, it has not become non-existent and empty, however it is thought, it will appear. For example, a wish-fulfilling jewel, although it does not always appear like this, but just as the needs of desire arise, the Dharma-nature of the mind is the same. Because the characteristics of phenomena are mistakenly examined, habits are born, but no matter what is thought, there is no permanence or certainty in it, so it is called conditioned Dharma. Therefore, all are conditioned Dharmas, this teaching of the Sugata Kuntuzangpo, hearing one word, one becomes a Buddha, even searching for samsara, it cannot be found. This teaching of Kuntuzangpo, gathered by all the Buddhas, is like the sky, unchanging. Like the sun of wisdom, there is no rising and setting in the light. Because it is from the beginning, there is no grasping and understanding. Because it is spontaneously accomplished, there is no transfer and change. Like this, after determining, meditate without distraction. All the phenomena that appear cannot be represented by such words. Because the pith instructions of the Great Expanse are originally vast, one becomes a Buddha in great bliss from the beginning. The Bodhicitta that will never change, unmade, is spontaneously accomplished from the beginning. For it, rest in effortless, unmade state. Thus it was specially spoken, so it became the gathering of the meaning of all the Buddhas. In the Tantra of the Gathering of the Intentions of all the Tathagatas, the first chapter. Then, for the self-nature of all the Buddhas

Statements. Emaho! Appearances and non-appearances are the dharmas of samsara. Existence and non-existence, permanence and annihilation are the causes of samsara. Buddhas and sentient beings are the words of delusion. Happiness and suffering are the paths of error. Like illusions and mirages, nothing is established, yet everything appears. Likewise, all dharmas are like that. Everything is like dharma. Thus, all that appears is from the very nature of the Buddha. There is no need to seek the Buddha elsewhere. Striving on the wrong path is the path of error. Even when clearly shown, it is not understood. Worldly people are naturally ignorant. There is no time for liberation, no time for suffering. I have not said that is liberation. Therefore, the nature of the Buddha is the three: mind, dharma, and space. Knowing the meaning of what is naturally unconditioned, that is the nature of the Buddha. Thus, all that appears is naturally the nature of mind. Words and letters do not add or subtract. Without seeking or conditioning, it abides in bliss. The nature of the Buddha is naturally like space, without change. If you hear this certainty without distraction, you do not need to strive for the nature of the Buddha. For mind, dharma, and space, such words and letters, I, Samantabhadra, have not found. That itself is the nature of the Buddha. It is not non-existence, therefore it is not annihilation. It is clear within the samadhi of intention. Clear and unmixed, the meaning is clear. Transform freely as you wish. In the vast expanse of dharmata, expand your own wisdom. Like a great garuda soaring in the sky, you can go wherever you think. Because the words of Samantabhadra arise, even the name of wrong view and certainty does not exist. Like a wish-fulfilling jewel raining down precious rain, it arises as you think in your mind. Like the light of appearance dawning in the darkness, faults appear as virtues. As one becomes skilled in the samadhi of illusion, whatever one focuses on appears as such. Everything abides in Samantabhadra. If you wish for something else, it is already complete from the beginning. Like space, rest in equality. Thus, from the tantra that gathers the intentions of all the Sugatas, the second chapter. Then, the pervasiveness of the names of all the Buddhas is: The nature of mind, the Buddha, abides in the unmoving sky. The nature of dharma, without beginning or end, abides in the unconditioned realm. The dharmakaya, without inside or outside, is complete in the realm without change. The bodhicitta, without good or bad, manifestly awakens in great bliss.
