This is the summary of the heart essence of enlightenment, the twelfth chapter. Then, the Clear Mind Boy asked: Primal, originally pure Buddha, how is the analogy of the stacked mountain used to explain? The World Honored One taught the retinue: Although the insubstantial, originally pure transcends analogy, in order to clearly express the meaning, it is symbolically explained with light. For example, the stacked mountain, in the nature of Mount Sumeru, stacks the unchanging; without shaking and change, the unchanging is accomplished. Stacking the originally non-existent, primal purity. Stacking the insubstantial, beyond thought, and inaction. In the clear light of emptiness, stacking clarity and brightness. In the nature of the heart essence, stacking wisdom. In the space of Dharma-nature, stacking energy and radiance. In the space of Dharma-kaya, stacking the three bodies. In the heart essence, stacking the cessation of the duality of arising and ceasing. The teachings of original purity are unchanging, insubstantial, unadulterated, clear and bright. Original purity transcends thought, stacking without action, without interruption from the beginning. Therefore, it is the Stacked Mountain Tantra. Thus it is said. In the Stacked Mountain Tantra, the thirteenth chapter using the mountain as an analogy. Then, the Clear Mind Boy asked: Primal, originally pure Buddha, how is it explained with the symbolism of secret mantras? The World Honored One taught the retinue: The view and meditation of secret mantras are explained with symbols. Clear Mind Boy, please keep it in mind. The great Garuda soaring in the sky, the turtle placed in a wooden basin, the madman entering the elephant herd, the mountain king Mount Sumeru unchanging, crystal ball, jewel, priceless treasure, gold. Through this key explanation of symbolic meaning, wise people can unlock the key to symbolic meaning. Thus it is said. The lion hears the thunder in the sky, the turtle yearns for the sky, sharpening the sword with oil, the elephant changes the formation of the army, the hungry person eats delicious food, refined gold is without impurities, the mirror is without stains, the sun is without darkness, the ocean is without turbulence, the conch itself is pure white, the lamp dispels darkness, the river never ceases. Thus it is said. In the Stacked Mountain Tantra, the fourteenth chapter explained with secret mantra symbols. Then, the Clear Mind Boy asked: Primal, originally pure Buddha, how can one obtain the fruit without practice? The World Honored One taught the retinue: Other schools

Do not speak of mundane matters. Effortlessly and spontaneously, directly show the fruit. Pure essence is instilled in the heart of the young boy. Primordially pure, without inherent existence, it has always resided within oneself. The method for realizing the primordially pure, beyond the mind, is said to be the attainment of the fruit. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of the Stacked Mountain, the fifteenth chapter, the chapter on showing the fruit. Then, the clear-minded young boy asked the primordially pure Buddha Yetok, "How are the views and practices of the nine vehicles?" The teacher Yetok replied, "Although the essence of primordial purity is invisible, I will explain the views and practices of the vehicles for those with sharp minds. Clear-minded young boy, keep this in your heart. The view and practice of the Shravakas is to see the aggregates, elements, and individuals as selfless. They practice the cessation samadhi, blocking the six senses from their objects. The view and practice of the Pratyekabuddhas is to see the twelve links of dependent origination as forms of consciousness. The view and practice of the Bodhisattvas is to see the two truths and meditate on emptiness. The view and practice of the outer tantras of secret mantra is to meditate on the six deities of Kriya, the pure nature of reality. The view and practice of Upa Yoga is to meditate on the thirty-seven aspects of enlightenment, like a lord and his servants. The view of Yoga is to meditate on the five aspects of enlightenment, without arising or ceasing. The view and practice of Maha Yoga is to meditate on the three samadhis, without appearance or emptiness. The view and practice of Anu Yoga is to meditate on the manner of generation and completion, with the spheres and wisdom. The view and practice of Ati Yoga is to meditate on phenomena and existence as the Dharmakaya, emptiness, in a state of astonishment. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of the Stacked Mountain, the sixteenth chapter, the chapter on showing the views and practices of the vehicles. Then, the clear-minded young boy asked the primordially pure Buddha Yetok, "With what does one encompass the nine practices?" The teacher said to the assembly, "Primordial purity, without inherent existence, has no encompassing or non-encompassing. However, for those with sharp minds, the way to encompass the essence of the nine peaks is this: Primordial purity, beyond the mind, without desire or support, the impartial view encompasses the nine practices. There is no thought or meditation on any movement of mind or consciousness. Not generating any memory or thought is the king of meditation, encompassing all. Not attached to anything, wishes are beyond the mind." Thus it is said. From the Tantra of the Stacked Mountain, the seventeenth chapter, the chapter on the transcendence of the nine practices. Then, the clear-minded young boy asked the primordially pure Buddha Yetok, "If one realizes the nine peaks, is there delusion or obscuration, or not?" The teacher said to the assembly
