From the Great Secret Assembly, the first chapter is the blessing of the Samadhi Mandala of all Tathagatas. Then, the Bhagavan, the Lord of Body, Speech, and Mind of all the Tathagatas, after making offerings to all the Bhagavan Tathagatas, prostrated and requested as follows: The supreme of body, speech, and mind, the secret of all the Tathagatas, the unsurpassed Bodhicitta, please Bhagavan explain. Then, the Bhagavan, the Lord of Body, Speech, and Mind Vajra of all the Tathagatas, knowing the requests of all the Tathagatas, and knowing with his mind the complete discernment of the minds of all Bodhisattvas, spoke to those Bodhisattvas as follows: Generate the aspect of mind and body, the aspect of body and mind, and the aspect of mind expressed in words. Then, those Bodhisattvas, great beings, having truly united the body, speech, and mind of all the Tathagatas as if they were the sky, recited this special verse: Emaho! Of Samantabhadra, Vajra body, speech, and mind, unborn by reason, this birth is greatly proclaimed. Then, the Bhagavan, the Vajra Tathagata of the Body, Speech, and Mind of all the Tathagatas, having entered into the Samadhi called Vajra, the manner of complete enlightenment of all the Tathagatas, spoke this Bodhicitta: The object of meditating without object, meditation, meditation is not the nature, thus object non-object, meditation is without object. Thus spoke the Bhagavan, the Vajra Tathagata of the Body, Speech, and Mind of all the Tathagatas. Then, the Bhagavan Vairochana Buddha Vajra Tathagata, having entered into the Samadhi called Vajra, the realization of all the Tathagatas, spoke this Bodhicitta: Separated from all objects, aggregates, realms, and sense bases, all that is grasped and the grasper are completely abandoned, the selflessness of phenomena is equality, one's own mind is primordially unborn.

The nature of emptiness! Thus spoke the Bhagavan Tathagata Vajra Vairocana. Then, the Bhagavan Tathagata Vajra Akshobhya entered into the samadhi called the inexhaustible vajra of all the Tathagatas, and spoke this bodhicitta: These things are unborn, there is no dharma or dharmata, like the sky, without self, this way of bodhi is firm. Thus spoke the Bhagavan Tathagata Vajra Akshobhya. Then, the Bhagavan Tathagata Vajra Ratnaketu entered into the samadhi called the selflessness vajra of all the Tathagatas, and spoke this bodhicitta: All dharmas are unreal, completely abandoning the characteristics of dharmas, all dharmas arise from selflessness, this way of bodhi is firm. Thus spoke the Bhagavan Tathagata Ratnaketu. Then, the Bhagavan Tathagata Vajra Amitayus entered into the samadhi called the blazing light lamp vajra, and spoke this bodhicitta: In the unborn dharmas, there is no essence and no practice, combining with the nature of the sky, thus proclaiming this thing greatly. Thus spoke the Bhagavan Tathagata Vajra Amitayus. Then, the Bhagavan Tathagata Vajra Amoghasiddhi entered into the samadhi called the subduing vajra of all the Tathagatas, and spoke this bodhicitta: The nature of all dharmas is clear light, primordially pure like the sky, there is no bodhi and no realization, this way of bodhi is firm. Thus spoke the Bhagavan Tathagata Vajra Amoghasiddhi. Then, the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, such as Maitreya, having heard the secret dharma nature letters of the body, speech, and mind of all the Tathagatas, became amazed and wonderful, and specially recited this verse: Emaho Buddha! Emaho Dharma! The teaching of the Dharma is truly rare!
