The five essences arising from the body are, for the yogi who constantly abides in equality, the enjoyments of the vow's life, which should never be abandoned. Because it is the essence of all that is gathered, it is called the five essences. The essence is the nature of knowing the root essence, clearly discerning the self-arisen purity, and becoming accustomed through the union of non-duality, all is equal in great bliss. The common and uncommon, the nature of the vow that is difficult to transgress, from the root and branches, whoever transgresses will fall into hell. In the nature of indivisible equality, if combined with the method of oral instructions, all will be perfectly complete with bliss. It arises from oneself and not from others. Wherever the root is completely decayed, the branches also lose their nature, because it is a place that everyone should abandon, if one associates and encounters it, one will fall. Whoever violates the root vow that has been blessed by all the Buddhas, is equal to violating the command of all the Buddhas and their retinue, and will fall into a place of suffering without liberation. The branch vows are extremely wonderful, if violated, siddhis will not arise, and by abandoning the view and conduct of the Great Vehicle, one will fall into the place of evil realms and samsara. The body, speech, and mind of all the Buddhas are the great Vajra vow, and through the union of all secrets, it is the nature of all the Buddhas. The five roots and ten branches, skillful means and wisdom, body, speech, and mind, through the union of the five natures, the number and distinctions are uncertain, and the differences of intention and thought appear. This is explaining oneself to oneself. From the Tantra of the Ocean of Illusion, the nineteenth chapter of the difficult to transgress, blessed by the holy ones. Then, the Bhagavan Tathagata, possessing all-knowing wisdom, the nature of complete abandonment and realization, is the nature of being separate from one and many, and truly explains the manner of activity. Nature, skillful means, and compassion itself, whatever vast activity arises, that very Ocean of Illusion, is considered to be the essence of all the Buddhas. Emaho, wondrous and rare Dharma, in the mandala of self-arisen wisdom, the nature of appearance and existence is uncreated, and is pacified in the essence of great bliss. In the spontaneously perfect mandala without accumulation, the qualities of greatness naturally appear, and whatever is clear without increase or decrease, is the inconceivable, boundless, and supreme. In the mandala of purity without attachment, all habitual tendencies of the field of experience, the supreme speech is unborn and...

Through the blessing of grace, Awareness gathers in uncorrected stillness. The self-aware wisdom king, In the unborn, natural state of being, Having destroyed signs and imprints, Abides in the state of great emptiness. Upon the Dharma wheel of one's own heart, Through the power of the four wisdoms and so forth abiding, The self-existing fourfold powers appear. Know them as they are, uncorrected. Having abided in knowing as it is, When the power of signs is obtained, In the places appropriate to each, Initiate actions and accomplish them. In the threefold mandala of vaṃ (藏文,梵文天城体,vam, water), To that which possesses signs and substances, Having struck with a peg endowed with desire, Make offerings for the sake of purifying all. In the threefold mandala of mā (藏文,梵文天城体,ma,mother), To that which possesses signs and substances, Having struck with a peg of joy and pride, Make offerings for the sake of increasing qualities. In the threefold mandala of yā (藏文,梵文天城体,ya,wind), To one's own sign possessing substance, Having struck with a peg of attachment and mastery, Make offerings for the sake of gathering the unfavorable. In the threefold mandala of e (藏文,梵文天城体,e,fire), To that which possesses one's own substance, Having struck with a fierce peg of wrath, Make offerings for the sake of reducing to ashes. In the self- emerging palace, the heart essence, E (藏文,梵文天城体,e,fire) and so forth abide in the four natures. The taste of bindu combined with skillful means, Self and other, the four actions are unimpeded, Perfecting the fruit of great bliss. Upon the bindu of the heart essence possessing a basis, The essence of the five pure elements gathers, It is the form of unborn space itself, Causing it to appear immediately. In the lotus womb of the Buddha's consort, The four secret mandalas abide, With the four mudras combined with skillful means and action, It is the coemergent wisdom itself. Born from the power of seizing the sun and moon, In the mandala of the four secret actions, The fire of the realm, rich in attachment, With the four mudras, urges on the teachings. With vajra and lotus, filling and pouring, Offering filled with bodhicitta, With actions, imprints, and objects of experience, Causes it to blaze into great bliss. The coemergent nature dawns, With the four actions of the power of compassion, Showing the manner of each one's delight, To various skillful means and inclinations, It shows whatever is pleasing. To some, it pacifies sickness and suffering, And all imprints without exception. To some, it increases life and merit, And enjoyment and wisdom. To some, it gathers obstacles and disharmony, And various conceptual thoughts through skillful means. To those whom it cannot subdue, Tha
