In the meantime, the prince offered all the treasure trove of jewels, power, and his mother to the Teacher Light Unfathomable, and the prince developed faith. In the presence of the Tathagata, he spoke these words: After this teaching has passed away, in the land of Oddiyana (Udyana, present-day Pakistan), on the mountain of Benlak Chong, in the Rakshasa place of Kochu Tsema Tang, in the midst of a lake of pus and blood, in a place with eighty thousand Rakshasa cities, my father is the Wrathful Poison-Hair, my mother is the Desire-Attachment Blood-Hair, and I am born as a blood-drinking Rakshasa child. Destroying the three realms, killing men when I see them, and copulating with women when I see them, my food is flesh and blood and bones, and drinking the ocean of blood is not enough. My work is never finished even if I kill all beings. Seeing that my father and mother will all go to Avici hell, the son made the following vow: After this has passed away, my father is the Wrathful Poison-Hair, my mother is the Desire-Attachment Blood-Hair, I am the blood-drinking Rakshasa child, after killing my father and mother, I will employ the attendant goddesses as servants, and after uprooting the five poisons, I will devour the bones of hatred.
