Since the two Buddhas of omniscience have no object, how does that become great compassion? It is compassion without an object, spoken to protect from all suffering. Then, towards what, with what, and how does compassion look? If it is said that the term 'looking' is inappropriate, the answer is: it looks without ceasing as it appears to the mind of the deluded, so there is no second fault. However it appears, it is liberated from the first fault because it knows that it is not established in its nature. Through these two, the third dispute is also eliminated incidentally. It sees that those to be tamed and those who tame are undifferentiated in nature, and it also sees that those who have not realized this are suffering as they are carried by the four rivers of samsara towards the constant flow, and it knows the means of liberation from it and teaches it. For example, in front of a person with clairvoyance, another person falls asleep and dreams of experiencing suffering in a dream. Although the clairvoyant knows it, he does not develop attachment to reality in his own mind, and he also knows that he will be liberated from that suffering when he wakes up. The way of looking is also threefold according to the thought of Je Drophukpa: the way of looking with the wisdom that knows suchness, which is not different from the dharmadhatu; looking with the wisdom that knows all that exists, which is not different from wisdom; the way of looking with the wisdom that knows the undifferentiated suchness and all that exists, which is the undifferentiated dharmadhatu and wisdom. Secondly, the way compassion arises after looking is threefold in order: constant nature force, prayer, and appearing from encountering an object. Therefore, there are four types: constant compassion like the continuous flow of a river; natural force compassion like the sun and its rays; compassion that is aroused and prayed for, like a poor person begging from a compassionate person; and compassion that encounters an object, like seeing a wise person acting wrongly. Thirdly, the ways of benefiting beings after it arises are: benefiting through reliance on a basis, benefiting without reliance on a basis, and benefiting through the nature of reality itself. The first is like a Brahmin building a stupa, for example, a Brahmin who has accomplished a vidyā-mantra builds and places a precious stupa, and his own life...

Just as a stupa fulfills the wishes of those who follow, the ultimate realization of the Buddha's intention, the wisdom of the Dharmakaya free from obscurations, is based on the accumulation of merit on the previous path. It is believed that for those who can be tamed, the two form bodies, pure and impure, appear and benefit beings. This is the view of the Indian scholar Simhabhadra and the Tibetan Zhongtsun's Zhang Sherab Lama, among others. The second view is like that of a sage whose curse is fulfilled. For example, a sage whose curse is fulfilled, after completing the curse, even if his own life ends, his curse will still come true in the eyes of others. Similarly, in the ultimate state of Buddhahood, although there is only the pure Dharmadhatu and no wisdom held by oneself, by the power of accumulating merit and making aspirations on the previous path, the two form bodies appear in the minds of those who can be tamed and benefit beings. This is the view of the Indian scholar Nagarjuna and the Tibetan Rongzom Chokyi Zangpo. The third view is like a wish-fulfilling jewel. For example, a wish-fulfilling jewel that is cleaned and offered can fulfill wishes according to one's own merit. However, the wish-fulfilling jewel itself has no effort, discrimination, or partiality. Similarly, the ultimate realization of the Buddha's intention transcends the extremes of existence and non-existence. Therefore, the Svabhavikakaya, which is free from all extremes, can appear in various forms to benefit beings in a way that suits the minds of those who can be tamed. This is the view of the great Chinese scholar Shri Singha and the Tibetan Zur Chung Sherab Drakpa, among others. In short, it is said in the extensive scriptures: 'By the blessing of great compassion, in the ten directions, in realms as numerous as dust particles, the activities of benefiting beings are inconceivable. With body, speech, mind, and qualities, and with spontaneously accomplished activities, no being who can be tamed is wasted. Purifying the lower realms, attaining enlightenment, perfecting the accumulation of wisdom, universally manifesting.' Thus it is said. The meaning of the result has been explained. The glorious king of tantras, the supreme secret among the secrets of all tantras, has been gathered into its essence and clarified by the wise and accomplished ones. Nevertheless, the oral instructions of the secret lord Vajrapani, the great hero tertön Dharma Raja...
