By the blessing of this devotion, becoming a saint determined as the essence, and the saint who rejoices, the two obtain the same. Thus, the great meaning without effort, the holder of the great lineage who is skilled in means, should become wise like that. There are other secret holders like this. The meaning of Samye (built around 767-779 AD) is universal, the Buddhas see this, know this, become the virtuous friend of the three realms of samsara, and become the master of the secret of the saint. How is that again? In the past, there used to be, a householder named Bright Giving, who lived in the great secret vehicle, because he saw his own secret, he realized the great secret, and determined to see all secrets. It is the secret of all dharmas, from which countless dharmas arise. After becoming the king of Dharma, he is known as the lion of all speech in all Buddha lands. You should learn like that. There are other secret holders who subdue harm, listen. Becoming the only path of words of the great secret vehicle, understanding in the heart, for the Sravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, Samye, and countless Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, etc., by spreading offerings and fields of merit widely, even hundreds of millions are not enough. Because knowing this Mahayana, this is the supreme way to please the Buddhas. The Buddhas who pervade the sky, and the essence of the great secret vehicle, are not independent of each other, there is no difference. Therefore, pleasing one Buddha is pleasing all Buddhas. Body, speech, and mind are not different, only the difference of the power of taming, it is said to be inconceivable. How is that again? In the past, there used to be, a lineage with good fortune and completely pure, named Good Virtue and Bright Virtue, each generating intention, making vows to each other, one of them for the inferior vehicle.

Having practiced, great deeds are accomplished. One is the meaning of the great secret of the Mahayana. From vast and definite understanding, possessing the clarity of a Mahayana practitioner, it is realized by one great lineage. The auspiciousness of acting is realized through countless three great kalpas. Therefore, for the great secret of the Mahayana, practice accordingly and truthfully in that way. Furthermore, listen, holder of secrets. This secret that is constantly taught, like the immovable king, etc., how are the great qualities constant? Obtain the dharani with meaning. And how is that? The householder Fire Offering, what he does, together with a retinue of hundreds, constantly dwells in this Mahayana. Like the retinue of the Buddha Akshobhya, a holder of a great lineage obtains it. Practice purely in that way. Furthermore, secret lord, like this, those who definitely practice for the sake of the vajra of body, speech, and mind, whatever they say after realizing it, through the speech and aspirations of habituation, that will become the king of Dharma, and will become the crown of all qualities. And how is that? In the past, what previously appeared, the sage yogi Kalayana, to the multitude of sages, proclaimed the praise of the great secret of the Mahayana. From definitely establishing the meanings, many obtained the holding of the great lineage. Whoever praises and proclaims there, will become the secret lord, the king of Dharma. Therefore, this great secret of the Mahayana, please praise and proclaim it to all. Therefore, you will obtain my intention. The intention of all Buddhas is also the essence of the great secret of the Mahayana. Any yogi who is intelligent, in an instant, a short time, if they definitely abide in the great secret, then all Buddhas are also holders of the lineage, completely certain in the great secret. Secret master, like that, what is the essence of the great secret? Definitely good cutting of the continuum and, wrongly determined cutting of the continuum, etc., are famous as transmissions that appeared before. Thus spoke the supreme secret. Thus, the secret lord recounted the actions of how the stories of the past were transmitted and became famous, thereby causing the inferior-bodied bodhisattvas, such as the lord of Lanka, to completely dispel any uncertain doubts. The intention of all Buddhas.
