Thus, the nature is one, but it is separated by the power of thought. Through the oral instructions that connect with the meaning, realize the mudra of the inexpressible mind. In the definitive meaning, immediately, the fortunate ones are liberated without effort. Because the great bliss does not go beyond its meaning, the path of the mind is perfected without seeking. It enters all at once without stages. Because the ability of awareness and mind is complete, it is spontaneously accomplished without seeking, and there is no partiality. Because there is no partiality or effort in anything, it is self-arisen, impartial, and self-illuminating. The Bodhicitta is without cause or condition. Without accumulation, it is spontaneously complete, complete at once. The self-arisen light spreads everywhere. The blessings of compassion have no coming or going. In the single vehicle, the completeness of mind itself, without remainder, is immaculate and utterly pure. Without remainder, actions are completed, spontaneously accomplished. Unfabricated, unsought, spontaneously accomplished. Entering emptiness, non-abiding, empty of thought. Not pacified, self-settled, the teaching of liberation. Whatever is defiled is bound by conceptual elaboration and effort. The wandering awareness is separate from the mind. The place of skillful means is neither sought nor cultivated. Do not be distracted, but rest as you please. Do not contract or expand, but carry it upwards. Realize by leaving it unfabricated. Do not think, do not act, do not seek an object. The Bodhicitta is the cause, oh, free from attachment. The essence of the heart is the continuum of meaning, clearly distinguishing between the clear and the unclear, the holy and the ordinary consciousness. Thus it is said. From the continuum of the heart essence, the third chapter, which establishes the three statements as unfabricated, is complete. Then, the Bhagavan, the King of Self-Arisen Awareness, having entered into the samadhi of utterly pure clarity, spoke thus: The Bodhicitta, whose nature does not abide, is transformed by three hundred and sixty wrong conceptions from non-existence to existence. Therefore, the world of attachment abides in a vehicle. The Bodhicitta, which is unborn, is indestructible like space. It does not rely on anything and transcends thought and analysis. It is said to be the unfabricated, perfect vehicle. With ten definitive statements, it clearly shows the oneness of nature. This essence of the three statements combined is the secret treasure that combines all three roots. Because the realm of self-arisen mind is vast, and because there is no dharma of differentiation, the qualities of playfulness are special. The nine realms of mind are taught and shown. The view is the self-arisen, perfect statement, completely gathering everything without remainder. Because everything is complete in one bindu,

I enjoy the essence of self-origination. The essence of all secret bindus. Without limit, the nature abides. All secrets are self-originated mind. Self-awareness and non-awareness are completely pure. Abandon the conceptual consciousness of discursive errors. Awareness is the key to the treasure of samadhi. Enjoy the nature without hope or fear. Self-awareness is not stained by objective nature. Samantabhadra's emptiness is unfabricated. All the distinctions of Samantabhadra's means. For the sake of being clear and complete without mixing. Like stars scattered in the sky. Everything is complete in one bindu. Having ten great assurances without needing to seek. Ten natures, without effort. Like a Chakravartin holding the kingdom. Again, for the fortunate prince. Understanding comes through teaching with skillful means. With the three assurances of unfabricated means. If wisdom is clearly connected. Everything is a union of these three. This also unravels the meaning of symbols. All mind itself cuts through the dangerous passes of views. How to distinguish the differences of enjoyment? The city of those who are not realized and go astray. The qualities of self-originated perfection are: With great means without effort or accomplishment. Directly pointing to the intention without distraction. Combining the methods that represent the three awarenesses. Is the very nature of unfabricated perfection. As long as conceptualization is the cause. It is inconceivable. It is taught according to thought. These should be well understood. Effortless, self-existing, spontaneously accomplished. All-complete, all-pervading, wonderfully renowned. Unfabricated, uncultivated, complete in one moment. Whatever effort of appearance arises in the mind. Is the self-existing nature of spontaneous accomplishment. Whoever, with the magical key of awareness. Opens the door to the mandala of self-originated means. Without seeking, sees the great bliss of self-originated spontaneous accomplishment. No gathering or scattering in the three times, it is the treasure of awareness. Because of unfabricated spontaneous accomplishment, there is no need to seek. Because the concept of fixation is cut off, there is no distraction. In one self-origination, the forms are countless. Because it abides in the non-dual bindu, it cannot be traveled. Because it is clear in the mind for the benefit of others, it is accomplished. Because it is completely spontaneously perfected without remainder, there is no need to cultivate the result. Because it is unborn and completely pure, there is no need to purify obscurations. Because it is unmade and the nature is complete, it is free from activity. By realizing this alone, everything is accomplished, everything is perfected. Therefore, it is said that Dzogchen abides in one bindu. Thus it is said. From the Root Text of the Meaning of the Essence, Bodhicitta.
