Appearances and half-appearances, The sound of non-appearance is self-clear. The earth abides on the earth, Originally present, who has not felt it? Originally there is no way to go, This path is originally close to oneself. This is originally present in oneself, Previously unseen, self-awareness is dull. The thought of non-abiding and beyond thought, Originally present without meditation, Who has not recognized this before? The objects of attachment and grasping, From the very beginning, in the nature of reality, All this is one's own self-appearance, Originally appearing, previously unrecognized. The five afflictions bound by self-grasping, Originally arising from self-awareness, Dwelling together, never meeting face to face. The four elements of earth, water, fire, and wind, Originally being one's own body, Whose eyes are dull that have not seen it? Also, the essence of the secret condensed instructions, Continuously self-sounding without interruption, Who has not heard this, Is there no sense of hearing? The fragrance of one's own place, space, and awareness, Without separation, one's own cycle, Without feeling, is the nose blocked? The three essences are condensed into one instruction, Originally, body and mind are the essence, Not having experienced this, is the tongue cut off? Appearance, self-light, color, and adornment, Inseparable from one's own body, Like body and shadow, Existing without day and night, Untouched by anyone, is the body stiff? The Dharma of happiness that dispels suffering, Abiding naturally without words, Who does not know this, is the mind dull? The accumulation of karmic imprints of samsara, Originally abiding in the Dharmakaya, Who has not seen the place of compassion? From the arising of the senses, self-grasping, and objects, The various movements of memory and thought, Originally arising as the Sambhogakaya, Not remembering all this, is speech incapable? Different actions and agents, efforts and accomplishments, And all the noise of assembled beings, Originally being the Nirmanakaya, Who does not know this, is the face dull? How thoughts and memories move, Like a stream of water, without interruption, Always captivating one's own mind, The meditation of effortless self-abiding, Not entering into experience, the mind is distracted. This appearance of container and contents, with hearing, Upon analysis, it is also without inherent nature, The view of cutting off the continuity of the city, Originally present, not seen, Are the doors of the senses closed? Without distinguishing and separating all this, In the realm of non-appearance and non-existence, To all the retinue that exists without remainder, Not spoken, without, Among the kings of words, Not appearing one.

The peaceful retinues, without anyone asking, the sense of hearing did not hear, yet it appears as if there is no speaking or proclaiming. Without designation, abiding in its own place, the mind understands all these words, without anyone teaching, yet it appears that each one understands in their own heart. Therefore, understanding in one's own heart, with no non-appearing thoughts, all appearances are naturally pure, everything becomes purely spontaneous, transforming into the great lineage of emptiness and clarity. The four great elements of earth, water, fire, and wind, their respective energies do not appear, rising in the sky like mist. All kinds of deluded attachments, no matter how one thinks, cannot arise, the divisions of grasper and grasped naturally cease, without appearance and naturally exhausted, the clarifier experiences itself, all embodied beings also pass away in the same way, not to mention the disembodied ones. These rare words that no one has spoken, the teacher, retinues, and gatherers, all naturally attain peace. Thus, arising naturally from the self-manifested words that no one has spoken, the teacher Samantabhadra and the wheels of body, speech, and mind of all Buddhas, etc., the retinues of the worldly and beyond-worldly are endowed with self-born wisdom, and are liberated from the attachments of their own minds. Thus, from the King of the Great Precious Heap Sutra, named Self-born Wisdom, Self-realizing Self. Named the chapter of Self-sounding Proclamation, which is the first chapter. (Tibetan, maharbatha drathartharta (Sanskrit Romanization), Great Treasure Meaning Holder). Then, the teacher Samantabhadra, named Jewel Heap Adornment, called out to those retinues, and in this way exhorted the meaning of the words. Alas! In the ten directions of the world, above and below, in the three realms, what no one has spoken, the secret, rare, and great wonderful Dharma, like this, we and others must deeply believe in the depths of our hearts. This meaning is blessed by a thousand Buddhas, and the habitual tendencies of samsara are completely purified. Whoever obtains this great secret definitive word, use it to satisfy the supreme and excellent ones. Therefore, enter into this definitive essence. After saying this, among those retinues, one named Vajra Speech of All Buddhas, with doubt arising in his mind, said: Where did those words that no one has spoken come from?
