Like change, Buddhas and sentient beings are the same. In the untainted nature of mind, if the bodhichitta is unchanging, like going to the treasure island, Buddhas and sentient beings cannot be sought. The ripening ears of grain are not different from the seed itself. The supreme Buddha is not different from the mind of sentient beings. Likewise, the basis of cause and effect is primordially non-dual bodhichitta. It is primordially expanded in great bliss, primordially non-dual Samantabhadra. Like gold, it is untainted and primordially existent. In the naturally pure essence, words and letters cannot alter it. However it is practiced, it is the original state. Suffering and happiness cannot be altered, because suffering and happiness are non-dual. It is not a wish to alter according to one's desire, it is primordially abiding as such. This is what Samantabhadra has said. Like the sky, it is primordially clear. Because thought and non-thought are non-dual, there is no need to seek high or low places. That is the realm of children's thoughts. The nature of mind, which is without inherent existence, in the primordially Samantabhadra, like purity and impurity being non-dual, thoughts of happiness and suffering are completely severed. The nature of mind arising from itself, with the sequence of happiness and suffering, the nature of mind is immutable, so seeking happiness and suffering will not be found. If everything is one's own mind, then suffering itself is the realm of happiness. If one knows it is self-arisen wisdom, then even the lower realms become Buddha, spontaneously accomplished in equality, so there is no need to seek in directions or factions. In the untainted Samantabhadra, happiness and suffering are non-dual. Bodhichitta itself is great bliss, because the cause itself is pure, it is the result, transcending words and letters, spontaneously accomplished and self-abiding without seeking. Good and bad, pure and impure, do not waver. In the mass of ignorance and darkness, like the sun of wisdom rising, in the nature of thought and non-thought, bodhichitta is clear, without good or bad. In the nature of great nectar, like poison and nectar being non-dual, in the nature of bodhichitta, even the names of faults and virtues do not exist. There is nothing better than bad, faults and virtues are inherently pure. In impurity there is no purity, poison itself is the nature of nectar, holding the meaning of non-duality, it is inherently pure. In non-discrimination and non-wish, fabricated effort is extremely foolish. Untainted

It is good from the very beginning. The Dharma of clinging to non-existent things as existent is like the indivisible sky. The lack of words does not accomplish the task. Do not seek yoga elsewhere. Meaningless words follow after sounds. There is no definite vehicle, and one cannot grasp the ground. Mistaking definite instructions for conceptual thoughts, accepting such meaningless things is confusing. Therefore, the meaning of unchanging enlightenment, for the practitioner who practices Dzogchen, is the wisdom of Samantabhadra itself. Therefore, there is no distinction between good and bad, pure and impure. Having confidence in the meaning of the instructions, not being distracted from the mind, being in the realm of contemplation. The yogi who practices in this way naturally abides in the state of Buddhahood. Not fabricating high and low, large and small, the levels of the vehicle have high and low, and the wisdom of conceptualization has large and small, like the movements of a dancer's hands. No matter what is shown, there is actually nothing. Since the nature is not determined as one, the body, speech, and mind also appear separately. Since wisdom has not become one, the Bodhicitta is also understood separately. If there is nothing other than Suchness, no matter what different forms are shown, there will be no falling away from wisdom itself. It transcends expression in words and letters. The empty world is like the realm of space. No matter how vast and boundless it is, if you divide something the size of a sesame seed into ten horse hairs, there is no large or small in the unborn realm. The Alaya is not produced, not born, and is completely pure from the beginning. Buddhas cannot fabricate it with greatness, and sentient beings cannot fabricate it with greatness. All dharmas become Buddhas in the mind, so they can be transformed as desired. Nirvana and the dharmas of samsara have no large or small, and naturally abide. About birth, death, and all changes are immutable: Mind, Dharma, and space, the three, initially have no cause for birth, and ultimately will not change and die. Likewise, there is no beginning and end, past, future, and present. How can there be verbal examination? Because the three times have no time, there is no before, no after, and it is good from the beginning. Moments, durations, and eons, the differences of long and short, the display of numbers, although they appear as incomprehensible confusion, there is no long or short in the meaning of Dharma. Likewise, for measurements and so on, the number of bodiless numbers is also shown. Like counting victories and defeats in a dream, counting and examining long and short is wrong. Even if I am counted as eons, there is no change from the very beginning. No matter what is shown as edge, center, or direction, it will not fall away from the state of the bindu.
