The deceased speaks to himself with himself: This mandala essence is the four bodies. The mandala of mudras inherently rejoices in the body. This great expanse of complete and total perfection has no object to behold, it is beyond action, it is nirvana. In the sky, earth, water, fire, and wind are complete. In this essence of wisdom, all phenomena are completely perfected. All appearances of body, wisdom, and qualities are reflections arising from oneself, therefore, whatever appears in the mind is said to be the wrong path of the essence. In the supreme, unsurpassed state, self-awareness is suchness, without thought, without distraction, without focus, it is suchness itself. It is not spoken of as sacred, it is simply left as it is. Speaking, thinking, and conceptualizing are all thoughts, so do not think. Do not analyze philosophical tenets, it is suchness itself. The ultimate, true end is beyond all ends. Do not look at objects, leave it as it is. Do not abandon the mind of dwelling, leave it in equanimity. To meditate by destroying the emptiness of mudras is a wrong path. The supreme mudra is without a place to dwell, it is non-abiding. Strive to remain in the natural state of non-objectivity. Like a fool, do not think of anything. The essence of the mandala of Samantabhadra is the great bindu that unites everything completely. Like a king, abide in the state of greatness. Possessing the retinue of others, samsara has no coming together or separation. Like the ocean, it gathers and arises, its depths are unfathomable. Nirvana and suffering arise spontaneously and completely. It is without comparison, immeasurable, and extremely profound. Like a vajra, it is indestructible, without coming together or separation. It abides in the same way with all wisdom mandalas. Like the fire at the end of an eon, it abides as one. Having established the expanse of appearance and existence, it dwells alone. Spontaneously perfect, skillful in means, possessing the womb of samsara. Like the offspring of a garuda, a lion, or a king, from the womb they subdue others as an antidote. Without cultivating an antidote, it is inherently like an antidote. The path of non-abiding, without a place to dwell, without an object of focus. This essence of equality, which does not separate cause and effect, is the antidote to samsara and nirvana. Without cultivating an antidote, it inherently abides as an antidote. The swift bird breaks out of its egg and soars into the sky. It does not rely on scriptures, it cannot be expressed by letters. The direct path of bliss and perfection, beyond action, spontaneously perfect, does not rely on the gate of entry, it is inherently vast. Like a great garuda spreading its wings, it does not cling to the sky. It conquers all vehicles, it is the unsurpassed, vast ground. It does not cling to the ground of inherent being, it is blissfully spontaneous.

is completed. Like a Garuda chick growing in its egg, this unborn, suchness nature grows similarly from the sphere of the thigle. If you do not see this dharma of non-action, you will not see the ground of all-pervading light even in kalpas. From the lineage of the great Garuda arises the mind of enlightenment. This is the third chapter on the method of meditation, which shows suchness and characteristics. Then, the Bhagavan, glorious Samantabhadra, spoke to himself: Like the great Garuda, which does not abide in the sky or on the earth, the wish-fulfilling jewel of all gatherings, all space, all things. Without object, without birth, without cessation, without appearance. Not seeking Buddhahood, that is suchness. Since everything is spontaneously accomplished, there is no action or activity. The perfection of the ten bhumis is the very holding and realization of it. It does not abide in that either, being free from the place of abiding and the one who abides. Because one desires a path where there is no path, the place of going is confused. Fearing the hope of attaining results, one does not see the meaning. Approaching the extreme of reality, one is separated from the scriptures. Desiring it in suchness, one does not find happiness. By abandoning desirable qualities and afflictions, one does not awaken to enlightenment. Samsara is behind.
