How to recognize oneself and the self? After asking this, The teacher of the meaning beyond mind replied: From emptiness, all things arise, and in emptiness, they naturally vanish, The introduction to the three mirrors is shown. May it be placed in the minds of the fortunate ones. The all-ground, impartial mirror of mind, The mirror of awareness, clear in every way, And the mirror of the Dharmadhatu, clear and self-luminous. First, in the all-ground mirror of mind, Introduce the intention of the Sugata as your own. Having introduced it, understand that nothing exists, yet everything appears. There, seal it with the seal of liberation of appearances. In the mirror of awareness, clear in every way, Introduce the habitual tendencies of mistaken thoughts as your own. Having introduced it, realize it is like a reflection in a mirror. There, seal it with the seal of clear purity and self-liberation. In the mirror of the Dharmadhatu, clear and self-luminous, Introduce the objects of appearance, all phenomena, as your own. Having introduced it, understand that although it appears, it is nameless and boundless. There, seal it with the seal of indivisible vastness. Thus, this teaching is merely symbolic. Through the introducer, the introduced, the two, and the non-two, Liberate into the self-purified space, nameless and boundless. Thus he spoke. From the Root Tantra of the Precious Lamp, The eleventh chapter: Introducing oneself in the three mirrors. Then, the self-illuminating Mind Hero Vajra Asked the Teacher of Meaning, Lord of Secrets: Furthermore, in this Precious Lamp of Mind Essence, What further secret instructions need to be repeated? After asking this, The Teacher of Meaning, beyond mind, replied: Through the four aspects of view, meditation, action, and result, Repeat the Buddha's intention in the boundless expanse. Realize that very thing through the three: reason, proof, and measure. The nominal view, meditation, action, and result, Repeat them in the nature of unobstructed meaning. With the initial state and the final key points, Cut off delusion from the root and practice. In the great crossroads of essence, reality, and ground, Repeat it for all Buddhas and sentient beings. The crossroads of introducing the three characteristics, Repeat it in the three: outer, inner, and secret. The crossroads of instructions on how to reverse delusion, Repeat it in the three modes of movement at the time intervals. This single lamp of the essence of transcendent Dharma, Repeat it for the nine vehicles of imputation in order. The supreme view of desirelessness, namelessness, and boundlessness, The supreme meditation of thoughtlessness, immutability, and vastness, The self-

The supreme conduct is to be free from clinging to anything. The supreme fruit is to be liberated from endless hope. If the root of delusion is cut, there is no name for view. What is the use of meditating without movement in the three times? The essence, without name, does not need to be meditated upon when it is realized. If you do not know how to reverse delusion, you measure the darkness. This essence, with its empty boundaries, is clear and pure without knowledge. Both existence and non-existence are non-dual. How can it arise without awareness? What is there to meditate on in a meaning that cannot be meditated on? What can be said in a state beyond words? The essence, without name, has no visible nature. The sutras and tantras of cause and effect, hearing, thinking, meditating, and accomplishing, are all used as play to create joy for others. But in reality, practicing them is the path of delusion. In solitude, abandon body and speech, and in the contemplation of the mind, do not be sad, but leave it in the vast expanse. If moving thoughts arise, even if they arise and appear, one great weapon is enough to cut through inner and outer delusions. The essence, free from all center and edge, is beyond words. The path of the unrepresentable, the boundless, and the unmoving is the path of all. The sphere of the drop is without desire or grasping. Primordially empty, primordially free, separate from names and forms. All-pervasive, without cause or condition, without interruption. The inexhaustible treasure, the essence, cannot be shown. The essence of not seeing anything at all, in the view, the branches of skill, the stages of the view, although they appear separately, are not two. The one unborn, unmade, is like the sky. Since no shape or color has been formed, this kind of bodhichitta cannot be represented. Practice body, speech, and mind in a state of effortlessness. Practice delusion and realization, birth and non-birth, without duality. Meditate in a state of immutability, without object, and without representation. Without going or coming, without distraction, there is no meditator or meditation. Without others, abiding in one's own place, meditating on the sphere of the essence is the most excellent. Not obtained from others, abiding in one's own place, is the king of fruits. Without cause or condition, the Dharmakaya is equal to space, the most excellent. The nature is all-pervasive, the characteristics are all-knowing. The essence of the Dharmakaya cannot be pointed out and said to be this. The object to be obtained and the obtainer are nameless and boundless. When delusion and attachment are liberated, there is no self or other. Liberation from the wrong lineage is the meaning of great bliss. The essence is difficult to realize because of the conditions of delusion. With the key of reversal, whatever arises is directly clear. The essence, like the root of the mother, cannot be represented. The appearance of delusion, self-luminous and pure, the recognition of mother and son is the most excellent.
