Transformation. Because of being suitable for Samadhi, one obtains self-mastery. Because one realizes one's own mind as the Lama, blessings and empowerment are not needed. The deity who realizes self-born wisdom. No need to recite mantras and the heart essence of the deity. The secret heart of all Buddhas. Non-conceptual wisdom, realize it yourself. That which benefits others. In the three realms, that is empowerment. Since instantaneous awareness is the real meaning. Instantaneous awareness can purify through its power. Because of common and uncommon. Because it is not transgressed, it is a vow. Explaining the common vows: Do not place the view in a public place, Do not speak falsely about meditation experiences, Do not abandon Bodhicitta for the sake of pleasing others, Do not abandon the secret door. The uncommon vow is: Because it has never arisen from the beginning. Originally not abiding, originally empty. Non-existent and scattered, Uniquely and spontaneously abiding. All mantra practitioners without vows, Like a flower with withered roots, Will not ripen into fruit. This is the means of accomplishing oneself as a Buddha. Because the Buddha is inherently present, it is approaching. Because one relies on the Lama as a symbol of that, it is near approaching. Because one takes his teachings as essential, it is accomplishment. Because it is free from the root of happiness and suffering, it is great accomplishment. Because it is spoken by the Sugata Lama, it is called activity. Because one listens and contemplates on that, it is called action. Pacifying the pain of the mind is indeed pacification. Taking that as the path is increase. Because one can freely use one's own mind, it is called power. Cutting off the root of Samsara is wrathful. As many different kinds of offerings as there are. Outer and inner offerings, and Secret offering, the unsurpassed offering. Explaining the unsurpassed offering is: Because the wise cultivate Bodhicitta, To the Buddhas and their sons, It is the most sacred among offerings. This is a flawless flower. Everything will not be long before, One will become the victorious Buddha himself. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of the Arrangement of the Precious Noble Path, the sixth chapter, which explains the nature of the Tantra to be fully understood. Vajrasattva again asked: All-knowing Teacher, Dharma Lord, I request you to speak the essential points. The All-knowing Teacher replied: With faith, place the sacred Dharma in the essential place, For people without faith, How can white Dharma arise? When the seed is burned by fire, How can a blue sprout grow?

Oṃ! With devotion, place the Guru in a crucial position. In the time before the Guru existed, there wasn't even the name 'Buddha'. The Guru is the lord of all Buddhas. First, establish your own body firmly. People rely on boats to cross the great river of suffering and reach the shore of Nirvāṇa. Stabilize your own mind with instructions. Your own mind is the root of the Buddha. When your own mind dissolves into itself, there is no other Dharma more supreme than that. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of the Arrangement of the Precious Noble Path. This is the substance of the Tantra to be fully understood, and the chapter on establishing it, the seventh. Vajrasattva again asked: King of knowledge, all-knowing one, when the appearance of delusion ceases, please explain the appearance of the Bardo. The All-Knowing Teacher replied: Thus, when appearance ceases, in order to know the appearance of the other side, the appearance of the Bardo is like this: The first arising, the Saṃbhava Bardo with a physical body, with all senses complete, without obstruction, from the common ground of above and below, without turning back, that is the Gandharva. The self-appearance of wisdom is like a lotus in the mud. The place of birth in existence is like a great palace. The dregs of time are like a cliff on the path. The two, birth and death, are like buckets drawing water. Arising from the path, it is clear and distinct. When grasping arises, it is completely obscured. By the power of realization, one enjoys five days of bliss. From moving and not moving, only the mind moves. Various forms are born from the mind. The explanation of its distinctions is that there are six kinds to be known: the Bardo of the abiding nature, the Bardo of Samādhi, the Bardo of the two, birth and death, likewise, the Bardo of existence, the Bardo of dreams and sleep, and the Bardo of the clear nature of Dharma. Thus it is said. Vajrasattva again asked: All-Knowing Teacher, Dharma Lord, understanding these meanings is very difficult. Please speak of the explanation including examples and meanings. Having heard this question, the All-Knowing Teacher replied: In the Bardo of the abiding nature, what is not known is made known. Like an orphan meeting his mother, the mother is emptiness, and the son is clarity. The practitioner who knows the mother and son will be liberated from that thought. In the Bardo of Samādhi, what is unclear is made clear, like a beautiful woman looking in a mirror, by mind looking at mind, dualistic grasping
