The Tantra Called "The Jewel Array of the Noble Path". In Sanskrit: Ratna Arya Bantha Byuha Tantra Nama. In Tibetan: The Tantra Called "The Jewel Array of the Noble Path". Homage to the Bhagavan, the All-Knowing Teacher! Thus I have heard at one time, the Bhagavan, the King of Self-Awareness Wisdom, in the Akanishta realm, in the place called Unadorned Appearance, to the assembly of retinues inseparable from himself and to the assembly of dakinis, at the time of teaching the essence of the teachings, Vajrasattva, from within that assembly, arose from his seat and asked the All-Knowing Teacher, the Dharma Lord, with wisdom itself: In the self-appearing, perfectly pure nature, how do the various phenomena arise? Please speak the essence of the teachings! The All-Knowing Teacher replied: Son of lineage, listen well! In the self-appearing, perfectly pure nature, the objects of mind appear in various ways. The essence of the teachings is to teach selflessness. In the essence itself, there is no grasping or being grasped. Because it is not the object of grasping, it is the path of selflessness and nirvana, free from the extremes of desire and aversion. The self-arisen, without cause or condition, is liberated from the extremes of the four elements. Because there is no partiality, it is equality itself. Because there is no conceptual thought, it is the Dharmakaya. Because it is completely known, it is wisdom. Thus he spoke. Vajrasattva asked again: All-Knowing Teacher, Dharma Lord! You are the lion of speech, please speak of the effortless vehicle! The All-Knowing Teacher replied: Vajrasattva and others, listen! This innermost essence of the effortless vehicle is very difficult for those of inferior intelligence to understand. Because it is not the object of grasping, this supreme essence of the vehicle, Vajrasattva, hold it in your heart. In the future, sons of lineage with intelligence, show them the essence of the teachings. Thus he spoke. Vajrasattva asked again: Lord of Secrets, possessor of great power, that supreme of the effortless vehicle, how is its realization? The All-Good Teacher replied: The way to realize the effortless vehicle, for those with sharp faculties of self-nature, is without grasping, naturally arising, without impurity, without obstruction, appearing like an object to be grasped. In the self-appearance of various phenomena, realize the essence as without good or bad. The nature of reality is without cause and effect.

It should also be like that. There is no cause and effect of things. Ultimately, Realize that there is no cause and effect. Various causes and effects cannot be denied. Thus it is said. Vajrasattva again asked: What is the essence of the definitive meaning vehicle? What is the object of practice? What is not the object of practice? What is the way of practice? Please explain, all-knowing one. The All-Knowing Teacher said: There are three objects of practice. Pray with faith again and again, ask for refuge when there is no protector, and be threatened by severe suffering. There are three objects that are not practiced: being weak and lacking strength, practicing wrongly and being far from meaning, and being contaminated by the defilements of youth. There are three ways of practicing: the essential practice of pith instructions, the forceful practice of skillful means, and the direct sequential practice. Symbolizing the way of practice, the reality of the unmade essence is that, although it is not a pervasive and tangible thing, there is no coming and going in all places. Because the Buddha has no beginning and no end, understanding it through symbols or skillful means, the diseases of afflictions can be pacified. With the unattached, self-arisen great medicine, eliminate the diseases of clinging to samsara. In the "Jewel Adornment of the Noble Path Sutra," the first chapter of the introduction. Vajrasattva again asked: All-knowing teacher, Dharma King, all-knowing King of Equality. When one's own mind becomes a demon and cuts off the life force of Bodhi, please explain the method of subduing it. The All-Good Buddha said: Gathered retinues, listen to me. Place the faculty of mind on the ear. Listen to the sound with the faculty of ear. When one's own mind becomes a demon, Bodhi When the life force is cut off, it will not do such harm. The method of subduing it is explained as follows: for what has not been grasped, grasp it. The sequence of grasping in the hand is: the body sits in vajra posture, the inner and outer breaths are balanced, the object is placed in front, and the mind is focused on it, so that one will not follow desires. Do not harbor two kinds of thoughts towards beings. When one does not abide here and scatters elsewhere, focus more intensely on the union of the two. In this way, one can grasp one's own mind. If one thinks of abiding or scattering, conceptual thoughts will increase.
